My absolute favorite. I have a whole drawer full of expensive foundations and I can’t get myself to use anything but this one. Easy to apply apply, looks so natural and wears well all day.
@@SofiaSeesBeauty I love that one too, but it takes me longer to apply and doesn’t seem as moisturizing so I haven’t been grabbing for it as much since my skin is so dry in the winter. But the look of it on the skin is very beautiful; more blurring and less glassy than the future skin on me. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it ❤️
@@prairie8356 I agree that the cushion is less moisturizing. I use a few drops of their Rose de Mai Oil (I just use the samples) directly in the cushion and it makes it just right. ;)
@@laurasenz I’ve had mine for awhile and zero issues with it drying out. I haven’t used it that much (guess I’m just to used to cushion foundations) but it still seems fine, and I haven’t even opened the refill yet.
I bought this the other day and am really taken back at how natural it is and how long lasting. I went for a 2 hour walk and it got HOT. It was still covering the little red veins on my nose when I got back. I also have dry skin and like how it didn't find any dry patches like a Dior foundation would. It also really sinks in so you don't have traced of it being obvious on your face.
This is my favorite foundation. I’ve never had anything close to it. I also have the Just Skin, the cushion, and the powder foundation as well. They’re all fantastic. The Future Skin is the most special, IMNSHO🥰 PS: I hope the new ownership keeps with the Sylvie Sale; that’s my stock up event.
When is the sale? Have I already missed it for this year? I’ve just learned about this product and really want to try it but it’s very expensive to gamble on. Does anyone know if there is a way to get samples? Is it sold anywhere that will give you a sample to try? Like maybe Nordstrom’s?
Thank you so much Sofia, very informative and helpful 🧡 I have a normal sensitive skin, so I think this is the perfect foundation for me..I would definitely love to see another video comparing suqqu to chantecaille. xoxoxox
Thanks for your feedback! I will need to add that video idea to me list. I have another one coming out soon that compares the Future Skin to the tinted moisturizer.
I’ve been eyeing off this foundation for my mature skin , I have been doing my research and after watching your review I’m sold . I cannot wait to purchase. In Australia 🇦🇺 it’s $120 but to look and feel fantastic and not have to worry about checking in the mirror every chance to see if your makeup is how you applied it is worth every penny . I honestly haven’t seen anything quite like this foundation
Hi Sofia! I found your channel recently and I’m happy to find someone with really dry skin as well. I have recently embarked on luxury cosmetics and I’m studying up in your videos. If you had to choose one luxury foundation, (no matter the cost), what would you choose?
You should check out my top five foundations video 🙂 I don’t really think I could answer that question. Everybody is looking for something different when it comes to a foundation and I have probably at least 20 in my drawer that I use and love
Thank you Sofia for this great video. I’m currently waiting on my delivery of this product, I’m worried that I may’ve chosen the wrong shade 🙁Hopefully it’s just as flexible a colour as yours is. Keep up the good work
I wish I could figure out my shade! I’m Mac NC25 and Nars Alaska and don’t know whether to order the alabaster, vanilla or chamomile. I’ll buy it. I love the idea of skin care in a foundation. Thanks! Looks pretty!!
Im looking at the shades now and I'm thinking you should start off with Chamomile 🤔 and then if that is too golden I would decide if you wanted to go a touch darker or lighter from there which would lead you to either alabaster or vanilla. I think I honestly could wear either of the 3 first shades because this blends into the skin so well
I think they are pretty different. I think this one does a better job at blurring and lasts a lot longer 🙂 the complexion touch is a nice foundation but not my fave. It can get a little cakey after a few hours
Did you try their foundation finder on their website? You enter your undertones and a lot of other questions to make sure it’s the exact right shade and tone
@@TaraNaRiEire The name doesn’t matter as much as how the product actually works. I’m not sure if you watched her whole video or not. But from what I saw, it is more suitable for dry skin. 😃
@@pattpattb I think the product is meant for all skin types and that’s why it’s gaining so much popularity. It’s being used on that show euphoria and many of the actors have clearly oily/combination skin as well as many other skin textures and qualities. But anyways, the reviews on the Chantecaille website are great because you can search key words, many reviews from people with oily skin saying it’s not moving, not greasy and not clogging pores even in Miami weather! I was skeptical but I’m definitely asking for it for my birthday ;)
I just received mine! I’m looking for tips like: Tinted sunscreen or untinted? Brush or fingers? I’d like to look fresh and natural. Have you used the Radiance Elixir from Chantecaille? I LOVE dewy, lit within, fresh, look.
I haven’t tried that product yet from Chantecaille. I think you could apply this with your fingers but it might get a little messy reaching into the jar 🙃
Awesome review! I know this is 2 years old BUT... I'm wondering if you tried anymore of the colors or did you get it right the first go? I've purchased 3 colors. Aura (lightest w/cooler pink undertones), Porcelain (next lightest w/neutral undertones but looks yellow in jar), and Alabaster (darkest of these 3 but neutral w/more peachy undertones). Did you happen to try the Aura or the Porcelain? I have neutral to cool undertones but Aura looks really really light on me. Alabaster seems a tad too dark and Porcelain too yellow. Love the product. Frustrated with which color to keep. Are you true neutral or lean cool or warm? Or anyone else have any experience with these? I got all my info from a Chantecaille Beauty Chat expert.
Thanks so much for this review - looks stunning! I think we may be foundation shade twins ☺️ Do you happen to know your shade in either Laura Mercier flawless Lumiere radiance perfection foundation or Hourglass illusion skin tint?
Hello Sofia, great video, how do you compare this with the Suqqu cream foundation, the one in similar package like this one? I just started to discover Suqqu and maaannn I want everything from they now, but I need to really selective because they are expensive. I already own this Chantecaille foundation and it is great! ....but do I need the Suqqu one? Thanks
Hi Ligia! That is a fantastic question. I have an answer for you. Both this and the Suqqu are my holy grails. BUT I do think they are different enough to own both. The Chantecaille is sheerer and gel-like. It feels more like skincare and gives a glass skin look. The Suqqu has a bit more coverage and longevity. It’s still moisturizing but not a dewy as the Chantecaille. I like it when I want just a bit more coverage! Let me know if this was helpful
I have caved and bought using some loyalty points I had to get it discounted. Not a fan of the inner lid that says not to dispose of it. This could get messy!
Hey Jess! I am wearing the Caliray Tubing Mascara (I have a review here on my channel). I didn't wear powder with this foundation because I very rarely wear powder and wanted to test it out on it's own
This is the most thorough, organized, & well planned review on this product that I’ve seen (and I’ve watched many at this point). Thank you!
Aw thank you so much Vanessa!!
