I ordered The Future Skin Foundation yesterday- cannot wait to receive it. It really sounds like something perfect for me. I generally love Chantecaille, especially the Giraffe collection that came out this year. Love the mermaid shadows too, and the eyeliners. Thank you for your great review!

Such a great idea Sofia! I actually really like the single eye shades, some of them have this beautiful multi-colour sparkle (Pangolin in particular). If you are wiling to give these another chance, I recommend that shade! I also really recommend the Sirena bronzer :)

I wish I could give you a thousand likes for your honesty lol😊 totally agree with your critique of the luminescent eye shades. Pangolin alone is a unique, pretty color but best to get it on sale. For me, the Sisley eye twists which are a similar price point are more worth it because of the quality as well as the time they save me. The mermaid shades were also horrible on me…they have a weird powder/cream texture and creased horribly on me. I also agreed with your findings on their baked gelee products. Their bronzers for example were hard for me to pick up and hard-panned so bad. I do LOVE their eyeliners and their lip chics. I have tried almost all their skincare and while some products weren’t the best on me I have never had a “dud” or something I totally regretted.

    Hi Sofia 🤗
Chantecaille is the one brand that i'm always *this* close to pulling the trigger on buying, but somehow never end up doing it... 🤷‍♀️ I guess the prices make me EXTRA picky. As a one-and-done shadow lover i've been lusting over these Luminescent Eye Shades for absolute ages, but the more i've been reading about them and watching reviews on them I realised that I'd end up being disappointed. They look... kinda flat? And the price is ridiculous... idk, i'll stick to my CT or Tom Ford singles 😌
From the products that I still am intigued and interested in: Future Skin foundation, Lip Chics and the liquid cheek products! 😍
    All the love! Sophie x

There are a few standout products- the philanthropy cheek shades and the cheek Gelees- but apart from those, nothing that I find worth the hefty price tag. I ordered the future skin after your reviewed it, what a win! But I hardly ever order direct from chantecaille, because their return/exchange policy isn’t great. I order from Beautylish usually, for no hassle. I have the future skin, and the tinted primer, and I did buy the summer eye and cheek single. Which was outrageously expensive, but I love it! I’d repurchase items I already know I like from them, but would never blind buy. Not even for a sale. Too many misses with the hits.

Hi Sofia! Have you tried their Perfect Blur Finishing Powder in your collection yet? I know you’re not a fan of setting powders due to having dry skin type. I also have dry skin but I still kinda like to set my makeup with a little bit of powder. I’m almost done with my Charlotte Tilburry’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting powder. It makes my skin dry and my foundation patchy even if I only apply a little bit of it, so I’m in search for a new one. If you haven’t tried Chantecaille’s powder yet, can you please recommend any other good setting powders that you know? Thank you!!

    • @SofiaSeesBeauty

Hey Cherlyn! I am a goof and I forgot to include the Chantecaille setting powder in this video 🙄 I have it. I will be honest I don’t think it’s with the hype. My fave doesn’t react to powders well and even the CT also doesn’t work well for me. The only thing that seems to work well for me are the hourglass finishing powders. For whatever reason they don’t make my face dry. I would recommend getting a mini to try if you haven’t experienced those!

Thanks so much for your honest video -- great job as always! I really want to try the Chantecaille brand, especially their foundations. But they come in so few shades (e.g., the cushion foundation comes in only 8 shades), that I don't see the point in paying top-dollar to try and "make" a foundation or any product work for me. If I get something at some point, it would probably be the blur powder.

I just loaded up on Chantecaille makeup and skincare during the sale a week ago. While the products are lovely products, some are disappointing and I regret the purchase. I just started using the products so I can’t speak to longevity or results but I can say that the price of the makeup is not justified. I hope I love the skincare due to the investment.
