G'day mate just wondering how the aluminium trailer went on the corrugations up North, any cracks or breaks anywhere? I'm looking at getting a trailer built would prefer ally but every one reckons they crack on corrugations.
Hi mate, it was perfect! I have had both aluminium and steel, both have their purpose but if your boat is over 5m and dual axle your mad not to go aluminium in my opinion, with the right engineering and correct strengthening you can reduce weight and make a stronger trailer. My trailer has done 15,000km across the what I would say have been the worse roads in Aus and I haven’t had an issue with cracks.
@@johnsykes706 hey mate, could not fault the victron charger or any of the victron gear for that matter. It’s was all top of the range and I used the charger almost weekly.
That is a swing around beach launch bar. It gives you additional reach on the draw bar for when launching on the beach or shallow ramps where you need to get the trailer into the water more without backing your car in.
