I agree. Natural light makes a an enormous difference for me too. I wish they would make this as a text only Bible. The font could be increased to one that would work better for more people.
Yes I would be v happy to see a text version of this too. The font size could increase by a point and hopefully reformatted in verse by verse! We can wish... God bless!
I’d buy a few new ones if they dropped the references. I have KJV and NASB Pitt Minions. I can read them in bright daylight w/o my glasses. It’s a great car Bible.
I have an NASB in brown goatskin. It’s my everyday carry . I find it readable for my old fifty plus years, eyes. Cambridge makes a nice sturdy Bible. Although it has some wear after five years it’s held up well. I’m thinking of getting a backup in black when I retire this or upgrade to a Clarion.
1:20 The paragraph format is what the original text was written in. Division of the text into verses came much later. Italian Dominican biblical scholar Santes Pagnino (1470-1541) was the first person to divide the text (New Testament only). Divisions into chapter are also, historically speaking, of recent origin. Eerly 13th century, Archbishop Stephen Langton and Cardinal Hugo de Sancto Caro developed different schemas for systematic division of the Bible into chapters . It is the system of Archbishop Langton on which the modern chapter divisions are based.
As a prison chaplain, the Pitt Minon is my prison BIble (Brown Goatskin NIV) because it fits in my back pocket and I can take it anywhere in the prison without carrying a large intimidating Bible.
I dig the Pitt Minion II KJV. (It's my everyday carry) A lot of people don't seem to like it because it's not verse-by-verse...I like it because it's not verse-by-verse. XD
I like a larger text size. The Topaz is great, but I think a 10pt variation of the Pitt Minion text would be great too. They've increased it to 8pt for the Diadem edition, so I might give that a look...
You’ll like that imitation leather NLT edition, it’s one of the nicest imitation leather covers I’ve seen. I have a video of it on my channel, one of my first ones if I recall but it’s nice. Cambridge is just an amazing publisher in general. I like the looks of the cover on that ESV.
Nice to find a bible channel from a fellow Brit! Thanks for the informative video, will have to look at picking one up if I can find a good deal. Thanks.
Hello Brother, great to see your honest review of this Bible! I think one of these would be a great addition to have. Looking forward to your upcoming reviews of the NLT and the NKJV! 😍🤗✝️💗📖
Well I wouldn’t say it’s easy to read but having spend some time with it in correct light I have to say it’s better than I initially thought. 👍 God bless bro!
Hi, yes I do actually! The imitation leather Cambridge use is probably the best IL I have seen, it’s really good. On the NLT edition I have the spine is gilt embossed in a beautiful bronze colour as well. Really nice. Totally recommend it!

Allan used to bind and sell a text-only Pitt Minion. Used to have one.

Great information thank you. It’s a subjective thing but I vastly prefer reading chapter and verse layouts! God bless
Glad you are enjoying your Pitt Minion bibles. I've enjoyed mine since June of 1963.
😊👌

That’s great to hear brother, be encouraged! God bless

Yes my preference would be verse by verse but I have still come to appreciate this Bible as it is! 👍👌

It’s excellent. Not a ‘large’ print though…

Yes sister their imitation leathers are first class, in fact for the PM I really like them! God bless

No problem and Greta to hear from a fellow Brit too! Feel free to browse my website!

Yes I’m glad I persevered with it and I’m really loving them now! Great daily carry Bible. 👍
I really enjoy the ESV translation 😻
So do I! It suits the Pitt Minion really well also. 👍
Excellent video! Your eyes must be much better than mine.

Hey, just wondering if you got the NLT in Imitation Leather?? If so, can you give any feedback? Is it durable etc? Thanks much ☺️👍🙂

I got the goatskin for only 29 dollars
Yes occasionally they are on sale really cheap! God bless
Wow nice. I got it recently for $75 but it was slightly used. With inflation etc I don’t think you’ll ever see a deal like that again.
To the pit with every Minion which is not a KJV. IT HAS THE DOMINION.
