- Cruise season is slowly beginning as cruise ships make their way back to South Florida for another great season, here is a ride along when you see 2 beautiful Norwegian ships, you see I keep moving my truck to keep a open lane of travel for emergency vehicles, with the gangway and 2 waste management roll offs it's tight so l'm trying to get as close to the gangway as possible to leave space and I'm glad I did as you will see there were plenty of emergency vehicles including police that came to the ship, not sure what happened and I did not see anyone taken away in handcuffs so l guess that's a good thing, hope you enjoy the video and if you ever been on a Norwegian cruise please comment about your experience, I have never been on a Norwegian cruise, thank you for watching #cruise ship #portofmiami #norwegian #miami #norwegiancruises

Thanks for the view of ships sailing by good to see you back on the channel..
I’m glad to see ships coming back in, I love parking there watching them go by, it was a great video to the start of our cruise season, thank you for watching
So happy to see the ships back in port. It is a pleasure watching them come and go. Looking forward to this season’s behind the scenes. Can you tell us what you are delivering or picking up?
That load I was getting oil from the ship, when they go in international waters they burn bunker fuel which is a tar like oil, I’m loading any waste from that and it goes to a treatment facility where it will get recycled, yes it is nice seeing the ships coming back in, traffic not so much but that comes with it lol, thank you for watching
Thanks William.
Your welcome, I appreciate you watching
great to watch but why did you drive to back up to Gem only to drive to Joy, uturn and back to Gem? Seemed like a lot of waster driving?
As I put in the comments the right of way clearance was very tight between the gangway and the 2 waste management roll offs, typically we back in but they had the gangway where I needle to be so to have a clear path for emergency vehicles I decided to go turn around so I could see the gangway on my side and be much closer versus the passenger side which I’m glad I did because they did require allot of emergency services, thank you for asking great question
Since when do passengers board via the service road?
I been waiting for someone to ask that question, that is crew members, the ones leaving with bags have completed their contract and are going to the airport to go home, most contracts are 1 year, the more time they commit to the more money they get, the ones coming to the ship with luggage are crew that have arrived and will begin their contract, those you see leaving and arriving with no luggage are going shopping, cruise ships provide shuttles to a shopping area close they they can shop for things they need or want, and others may be contractors there to do work while the ship is there, great question
@@WLeon3350 Ah ok, that makes perfect sense now.
