I been waiting for someone to ask that question, that is crew members, the ones leaving with bags have completed their contract and are going to the airport to go home, most contracts are 1 year, the more time they commit to the more money they get, the ones coming to the ship with luggage are crew that have arrived and will begin their contract, those you see leaving and arriving with no luggage are going shopping, cruise ships provide shuttles to a shopping area close they they can shop for things they need or want, and others may be contractors there to do work while the ship is there, great question

I’m not exactly sure, we pull different tankers, aluminum, and stainless steel for chemicals, this video I’m pulling a aluminum tanker with a sleeper truck so my truck having a bed is longer than our day cabs, I would say it’s around 45’ feet long with a capacity of 9,300 gallons, great question, thank you for watching

​@@WLeon3350I believe it's Miami, port canaveral doesn't have nearly as much cargo, I know they're neck-and-neck as far as cruise passengers go

I’m picking up oily water from the engine room, it goes to a treatment facility and gets separated then the water gets treated and the oil gets recycled

@ what’s the best cruise line, I’m not sure, I been on carnival several times but dockside workers claim it’s royal Caribbean but virgin have a no kid policy and is known as a party cruise and Norwegian is also known as a party cruise, personally i think just go, carnival cruise treated us like first class so I think they are all great just get on the one going where you want to go, safe travels happy holidays

Dockworkers do not throw trash in the water, they often times do throw food in the water or on the dock for birds, fish ect… Port of Miami have a street sweeper that work the docks and nets are put under any open doors to try and prevent anything from getting in the water but does it happen yes it does, gust of wind comes through and sometimes blows trash in the water, me personally I think more should be done to prevent this, thank you for watching and commenting good question especially when it comes to plastic

I was wondering that, too. You must be referring to that crew in front of the truck. I looked up the name on the truck: Greensea IQ Hull Cleaning Service. They drop robots over the side to clean and inspect ship hulls. I think that man was dropping connection cables in the water.

We definitely don’t like doing them, other drivers have hit stuff doing it, they have a east and west gate for trucks but when I shot this video the west gate was closed, they don’t open it until the virgin ship comes in which is either scarlet lady or valiant lady so I decided to come in the east gate u-turn and back up to the ship, thank you for watching happy thanksgiving

As I put in the comments the right of way clearance was very tight between the gangway and the 2 waste management roll offs, typically we back in but they had the gangway where I needle to be so to have a clear path for emergency vehicles I decided to go turn around so I could see the gangway on my side and be much closer versus the passenger side which I’m glad I did because they did require allot of emergency services, thank you for asking great question

That load I was getting oil from the ship, when they go in international waters they burn bunker fuel which is a tar like oil, I’m loading any waste from that and it goes to a treatment facility where it will get recycled, yes it is nice seeing the ships coming back in, traffic not so much but that comes with it lol, thank you for watching

Yes, he or she was leaving Port Everglades they failed to go through the inspection before leaving

I have foster kids and I just capture things on video and myself and the kids edit them and post them, there is no gain for me except for being involved with kids who’s lives have been turned upside down and In 1 of my comments I say I believe it’s just a new driver who made a mistake, but who knows why he really did not go through inspection but I can say this customs was on top of their job, that could have easily been missed but they saw him I’m assuming on camera, hands down they did a great job seeing it, going after the person and bringing them back

One such outstanding idiot driving for Knight/Swift just put one of their trucks over a barrier wall into a median, I think it was at the I-40/I-44 split in the curve! Trainer was telling the trainee to slow down, but the trainee had the cruise set and no habla English!!! I talked to a Knight Transportation recruiter a few years ago, right when the DOT was getting ready to swoop in and terminate everyone at Swift and permanently remove their operating authority, but Knight had just bought Swift out and saved them from the DOT axe! I told that recruiter that they just ruined their own company and that I had nothing further I needed to talk to him about!!!
