Yes, Ingram Spark is by far the most profitable platform for me at the moment and you don't even need promocodes to put your book on there for free. You just need ISBN numbers to get started. Did you get my free checklist in the description?

It is most common to use Amazon first, but I publish on both platforms at the same time. Just make sure to use your own ISBN to ensure you don't get accused of using duplicate content on Amazon. Did you grab my free checklist in the description?
Thanks for the helpful video. I am confused about the upfront costs for a print paperback ($50 publish fee, $30 author copy & fee for updating the cover or content). Can you clarify the fees?
Also, just wondering if you think there is any increased chance of Amazon asking you to verify your book when it is published on multiple publishers with the same ISBN?
Hi John, thanks for the questions. Ingram Spark no longer requires the upfront cost of on the books. Though, to make changes they will later. Also, you aren't required to buy an author copy on Ingram Spark. Amazon has been asking a lot of people to verify everything lately. So, owning your own ISBN for your books can be helpful. You will find the Fiverr service I recommend for getting your ISBNs in the description.

Hi, So, if I have a book - I get two ISBN numbers - 1 to put it on Amazon and 1 for IngramSpark. And what if I print copies to sell myself. Can that be one of those ISBNs? I've always been confused about "rights" when I use one of these two. If I use both of them for distribution, do I still own full rights to my book, and if not happy, can pull it from them. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi, Great question! The key is that you need only 1 ISBN per type of book. So, if you have a paperback version of your book, you only need 1 ISBN for that paperback version and it can be used on all platforms.
Thank you for this informative video! The part of IngramSpark that makes me nervous is the returns policy. I've read that book stores don't purchase from IngramSpark unless the author is willing to take back returns of books that don't sell. Then the author is charged back for those books. Have you had any experience with this?
Hi Stef, yes I have had experience. IngramSpark brings me more money for paperback sales than Amazon. So, I don't care about any of their policies. I make the choices to ensure maximum distribution and they do their part in sending me a nice royalties check each month. Why not test it out and see what happens with your book?

Will there be payment when you upload low content books using IngramSparks?
Hi Marie, IngramSpark put in rules a year ago to stop low content books. So, I you will need to check if you book is even allowed to be published on their platform.
Will IngramSparks charge you once you upload your low content books or even when you don't uave any sales yet?
Great question! IngramSpark only requires that you come with your own ISBN number. So, there are no additional fees to publish a book even if you have 0 sales.

I am not working for Ingram Spark. I can tell you that if you are publishing hardcover books that Amazon produces better dark colors and sells them cheaper. So, there is a negative for you. I do make more money off of Ingram spark. How are your books selling?

Great question! Yes and you should publish on both platforms. I make more money from IS than Amazon at the moment.
