I was waiting for this episode just to see Ryan's😍 reaction after the Scotland💪💪💪 vs England🤣🤣🤣 match. Don't play with Scotland!!!! Jesse Kriel was recently asked who was the toughest team to play between Ireland and England in the world cup, he answered that "defensively Scotland was the toughest to play because you never know what Finn Russell would do". Lots of l❤ve for this show from South Africa 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆🏆 keep up the good work👏 lads.
@@matthew-tx6is that was Jesse's answer. He would know how it was playing against each of those teams as he was on the field playing against them right?
Couldn't wait for this episode after the Scotland game. It was such a great game. I'm a Saffa, so of course I love VDM, but I honestly don't think he'd get into the Bok squad, not because he is not good [HE IS!!] but the Boks' typical game plan requires something that VDM is still working on. He's exciting and explosive, the same as Kolbe and Arendse, but our wings spend a lot the time defending/tackling/disrupting, etc. So it's more of a style issue than a quality issue. With that said, Goooooo VDM, sure "Daddy Gregor" is proud 😊
He was average against the springboks, and now cause he scores a hat trick against a shit english side, all of a sudden it's these northern knobs are going on about how he'd get in ahead of arendse or cheslin
@@tonydicicco5215 he is the furthest thing from the typical SA winger. I'd take Finn from the Scots, not him. Even Huw Jones. He is not suited at all to the Boks- world class finisher but not how we pick them
I am so glad I hadn’t listened to this before the England vs Ireland game and the Scotland vs Italy game. I cannot wait to listen to the latest episode.
Duhan seems to raise his game that much more for England. After try of the year in '23, he thought a hattrick would be a good follow-up. Scotland should thank his SA upbringing because England is the team we hate losing to the most, lol.
As a neutral supporter of the 6 nations (I'm a Saffa), I do agree with Ryan about the disallowed try and it's outcome. While Ireland are favorites, could you imagine the hype going into Scotland vs Ireland with all to play for! It would have been monumental. It would give both teams a world cup scenario that would potentially help overcome demons. Ireland as favorites would need to rise to the occasion and show that they have the temperament and Scotland as underdogs, show they have the metal to punch above their weight. It's a tragedy!
Not sure professionals can use it as an excuse, but Ryan says it wasn't raining. I watched the u20's on the Friday and it was absolutely pissing it down so don't know if the pitch might have still been greasy. Also, I know we were playing BK10 so it'll probably be a completely different game but people seem to be forgetting that Italy were a last minute try/uncalled offside penalty away from beating us last year so I'm still a wee bit worried for next week. Started to really respect Lamaro since that game so great to see him on the pod
The Scots can run me up the wrong way but I do feel that if not for that decision in the France game, this was their time to raise the trophy. Good and bad spells don’t last and their squad is as purple as it’s going to get right now…😊
Ireland will remember Scotland denying them the Super Grand Slam last year and I'm sure they'll out to correct that this year. Scotland will find it tough in Dublin already without bringing that shit up 🙂
To be fair now, Scotland spent years losing with squads of excellent players. This happens. Just can’t wait (sarcasm) for the headlines when Ireland & Scotland have a period of decline which will happen.
This argument about how Italy didn't complain enough about the charge down is ridiculous. Italy aren't the refs. Why can't we legitimately criticise the refs that was amateur hour!
He really would not, play for the Boks. I think he found his team in Scotland it's like Jameson Gibson Park found Ireland cause he was never unseating Smith. 4:35
I'm happy for them, they found teams where they shine. Cheslin ran circles round Duhan against the lions and Kurt-lee left him for dead at the world cup; not to mention Mapimpi as-well. You can have Duhan, God bless him may, continue to shine in Europe.
We yet again lose to Scotland. I can’t deal with this shit anymore 😂. All possession, territory, defenders beaten stats in our favour and we bottle it again. Scotland played great counter attacking rugby but can’t help feel we threw that one away once again.
I feel your pain.... it lasted 12 years for us in Scotland and we will have another long fallow period simply because we don't have the depth of resources
@@HarryFlashmanVC wouldn’t be so sure. You seem to have a game plan that works well - just need to execute it against the top teams now. As for depth I think you are covered in teams of your back row and basically the whole of your backline. But could definitely do with more depth in the propping department and second row.
Hes like the nz wingers of the 90s great going forward but not do great going back .ill take Kolbe,KLA and mr moodie allday over vdm ..no contests lady ..
Of course he'll return to SA. They all do. His brother Akker ( who was a Springbok) returned and plays for the Bulls. Their families don't move so they always come home.

And yet Ireland and England performed better than Scotland against RSA in the World Cup

It's Finn. We'd take him
@@matthew-tx6is Dude he's not wrong. Finn is the reason. One Scottish player we would absolutely take and he'd fit the Bok system like a glove.
Solid chat, lads! Lamaro is an inspirational person and I really feel for Italy. They should've had the opportunity to retake that kick!

Duhan is toooo scared to be tackled
Which is why he is ill-suited to Bok system.
Ryan is still more English than Scottish

Come on Ryan, stop whining about Scotland. They had their chances and lost the game, even if the ref messed up at the end. Only themselves to blame.
I can’t think of one try Duhan scored against a Southern Hem team boys.
Not SA or NZ.
Have I missed Ep 30 somewhere?

England wernt shiat! The funny thing is I actually believe they’ll keep it close until the 2nd half against the Irish.

@Ryan talking about Finn's iron balls. Did you not mean stone? He is a stonemason afterall😂😂
