What a great video! I think you have the only Mickey handcars to actually run at Disney World too! I like the Platinum handcar the best, but appreciate the rarity of the purple car and the fact that it matches the 100th anniversary clothing of Mickey and Minnie!
Thank you for the support! I have to agree that this may be the first Disney Handcar at the park! 🏰 Everything about this trip was perfect! We at first didn't think we would be able to bring it into the park let alone find a spot to set it up and run it! The staff at Magic Kingdom were so professional and helpful! The Platinum Handcar is truly beautiful and we are so fortunate to have one. BOLO for a future highlighting the other variations! 🚂 Happy Railroading!!
Captain Will and Lionel Lady Kat, Wow, what a super video from beginning to end, a well thought out presentation of one of the most iconic Lionel products ever made, incorporating Mickey and Minnie into your video was awesome, showing the castle and Disney characters and music made this a feature rich video. Seeing the Lionel Lady so excited about the hand cars, and your enthusiastic presentation was worth watching many times. Your friendship with CEO Howard Hitchcock is also really significant as he likes your enthusiasm to, you are both, Lionel Ambassadors, Thank you for going the extra mile incorporating Disney, the Lionel Store in Concord NC., and your home. Watching the great Mickey and Minnie hand car chase was so creative… I like the Red one, but they are all beautiful. Hey guys that was a totally cool video. Also being a Disney , and Lionel fan, I too got all the Disney 100 items but only 2 red hand cars for the kids some day. I am so appreciative of your signing and running of the hand cars, at the park! A Disney fan since my first trip to Disney land in 1958, and a lifetime collector of trains since that first Lionel in Christmas of 1959. Love your channel. Your enthusiasm is amazing. Well I hate unboxing videos but Oh Boy! this one was fun! You made this one so much fun and unique. I really enjoyed the unboxing and you really did an excellent job showcasing the handcar. Such a great back drop to do the unboxing and getting it in shots around the park. And to get Minnie and Mickey to sign them. Way to go Pal! Seriously you really made what I consider a boring part of model railroading videos into a really enjoyable experience. Such creativity for the entire video. Thanks for sharing and doing this video. I would highly recommend getting one! This trip was spur of the moment and we are so happy everything went perfect and in some ways better than we expected! And you chose that great train room at wilderness lodge to run them. I stayed there recently and discovered that room.
The Wilderness Lodge is a really great resort! We didn’t get to actually stay there this trip, but I would love to one day! The Carolwood Pacific room is also definitely worth a visit!
@@Lady_Lionel yes its a great hotel with lots of food options and pool and activities. And the best part is the free boat ride to main gate all day long
Yeah! We've know about this room and thought on the way down "what if?!" We were so excited about finally going to that room and fortunate we had the room to ourselves! Happy Railroading 🚂!
Did any of the shops at Disney have any leftovers of the 2 special versions? Sometimes they do that since the D23 Mickey Statue is for sale by itself on the website.
No, unfortunately there were no Handcars (any variations) sold at the park. I was a bit suprise to not see any. A lot of people saw ours and passing the info saying they are still available excited people to buy them. Unfortunately, if you want the two D23 variations they are very expensive on the secondary market. Check shopDisney for thr maroon variation! Happy Railroading 🚂!
