Yes, please turn this into a new series, the ending with Mickey himself seeing your art of him as Jack Skellington is just so wholesome and I couldn't stop smiling. I love to see what you can draw on some of the other attractions at the other Disney parks like at Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.😊

As someone who has never travelled outside of her own country, far less to Disney World, this was such an adventure to watch and the scene where you got to meet Mickey and show him your drawing was so endearing. You make me want to visit Disney World someday.

I’m 55 and there is just something about the magic. I grew up a Disneyland girl. When I pass through those gates and see the sign about “Here you leave today…” I really do leave today, I’m 7 again and the world isn’t scary and falling apart. For a few days magic is real, people are kind and everyone sings. Everybody had their happy place, mine is Disneyland. Especially in October 🎃. I’m so glad you had a great time and your Mickey art was gorgeous 🧡🖤🧡

This makes my heart burst with happiness for you. It also reminds me of my family and I going to disneyland EVERY week when we were younger. We would also stay in a hotel across the street twice a year for a week for vacation. It's the one thing I miss after moving out of California 10 years ago. One day I hope to be able to take my kids ❤
I went to Disneyland when I was about 12 yo, but I went a couple more times as an adult in company of another adult (no kids). I had just as much fun as an adult as I did as a kid. I am glad you had such a good time. Your smile says it all. I also really liked the non-exciting history rides that were mostly empty. I went on most of those twice. Mickey signing your artwork is awesome. Acid free matting and a nice frame is called for.
That part with Mickey had me grinning from big ear to big ear!🐭

Interestingly, my university say to us students to take our sketchbooks everywhere and draw. My teachers suggest drawing people and settings like food to get comfortable and flexible as creatives. Keep up the work Rae and thanks for helping me grow up

I get how you felt with Mickey! Donald duck is my favorite. I have a fan that I used mod podge to glue scrapbook paper to, and then I painted Donald Duck with acrylic gouache. When I was finally able to have Donald sign it I cried.

I love anything amusement park, I love the magic they can bring regardless if it’s Disney or somewhere else. Most of my happiest memories are amusement park related. This makes me so happy when you met Mickey! No age limit to the magic and joy these experiences can bring 🥰🥹

Neat video! Glad you had a fun time. it’s fun meeting the characters! I went to Disney World twice when I was in high school (2001 and 2004). I got my first stuffed Stitch from there during the 2004 trip. I also filmed the ride in the Epcot sphere and one of my friends and I got to see Davy Jones of the Monkees because he was performing the day we went to Epcot (a couple of years ago, my family saw Mickey and Mike of the Monkees in concert).
While my mom has never been to Disney World, she did ride the carousel of Progress when she went with her family to the 1964 World’s Fair.

My family was not well off enough to ever go to Disney growing up. When I was 18 I paid to take my dad and myself to Disney World and cried when I saw the castle. When I was about 19 or 20 I went to Disneyland for the first time…I cried when I saw that castle too. It wasn’t like “it was so beautiful that my eyes watered” it was because I just felt like a kid getting to experience this magical place for the first time but with heightened emotions.
