I loved how Beautiful Connie💞 was arranging the green decorations in the nest only to see the big Iguana!!! 💚...Taking Defense mode opening her wings and Startling The Iguana to fall off the nest! Great job Mom...Protecting her Precious egg 🥚 💫🙏 Tysvm Dear Lady Hawk ❤, Beautiful closeups great Capturing 🌹I wish you and all Friends a Wonderful blessed day ⚘🤗🦅💞💚💫🌹
Yikers! That was crazy! Predator alert!! Connie scared the daylights out of that iguana! Good job Moma! 😃 We sure do see and learn a lot from these nest cameras! I hope that iguanas land on their feet like cats do though. 70 feet is a long ways down! 😯 At least it won't be going after her eggs again. TY Lady Hawk
That Iguana had some fierce looking eyes. It was almost like a cartoon character that you could tell by the eye expressions what it was thinking !!! Reminded me of Pepe Lepew hahaha !!! That was a beautiful Iguana but hoping it relocated to the beach lol !!! Great protection by Connie. She went right into Momma Bear mode !!! Can’t wait for egg two to appear. 🦅💙🦅💜🥚💕
OMG LH!! Be still my 💓💓I knew I had to watch this immediately! Mama made it very clear that this is HER nest!🦅💕🥚🦅🥚💕Was I wrong to 😅😅 when the branch broke & the iguana fell all the way down??🤭🤭I thought of Wiley C Coyote & the Road Runner, when he fell.🦎🦎You bring us the MOST AMAZING videos!🏆🤝🏆This one is in the top 10 now!🏆🤝🏆
Oh my goodness gracious so many predators. The iguana scared me when it first popped out, so big and such vivid colors. Connie did a great job protecting her precious egg. Seventy feet high, well I guess the iguana won’t be coming back to try and snatch an egg. Good grief!! Thank you Lady Hawk❤️
I just only hope this residential Iguana has survived the fall 🧡🦎 🤞🍀 Very beautiful reptile 😍 Connie was very watchful 👁️ so with her sharp beak and claws Iguana couldn't be the threat for egg this time 🙏🦅🤗 Nature is awesome in Florida and great pleasure to watch 😍🌸 Tyvm dear Lady Hawk for video 📸💐🍓💗🍫🐝 Happy Wednesday my friend 🤗💞
😯😯 WOW!!! And Iguanas are huge and heavy! Thank God Connie was in the nest, and didn't have to tangle with this creature. I don't relish any animal getting hurt, and you could hear the thunk when it hit the ground... but I'm very glad Connie and her precious egg are safe.
Wow, that's a nest intruder you don't see every day! 🤣It was truly stunning though and I hate to see it fall to it's death but this is the nest of a fierce eagle power couple who's going to protect their nest at all costs. Sorry Mr. Iguana. Thanks for this amazing video Lady Hawk!!❤🦅
So glad mama eagle was there & not taking any nest break or things would've ended very differently. Phew! Fascinating watching this episode of As the Nest Turns. 😆
wow what a beautiful Iguana, stunning colours, I hope it didnt hurt itself when it fell, but it would have been more hurt if it stayed there. Such a good climber, thats a long way up. Good Mumma Eagle for protecting her eggs ❤
💞🥚💞 Bless Mama Connie's heart!! 🙌🦅🙌 Oh I must say I'm so glad Mama Connie protected her precious egg, but at the same time very sad for the iguana's terrible fate. ❤️💔 Oh dear!! I apologize for my usual sincerity. I feel so bad for this poor majestic iguana. 😞😞 RIP little friend!! 💔🌈🦎 Life and death always "walk" together hand in hand for all living beings!! 😥😥 Thank you so much for this video, Lady Hawk. 💙💙 Take care and be blessed. 💐💙🥰💞🥚🦅🚫🌈💔🦎💞🙏
Connie has some grass in there to show them how they will look if they eat her eggs. What a beautiful site to see him not snatch those eggs. Nasty fall he took poor reptile just wanted some lunch. Not today.
I saw it live, bravo Connie! That iguana had beautiful colors, I hope he's safe and sound despite the fall. Reminiscent of last year's iguana with Cal and the late Lusa in the nest. Thanks LH
It is a Green Iguana, aka American Iguana. Wikipedia has a detailed page on them. I used the app called Lens to ID it. Just point and tap. I use the app for everything, even translating on TH-cam, when the option isn't available.
Yes, absolutely. Green Iguana is an invasive species with a growing population in south Florida. Among other problems, it can negatively impact various native species of wildlife (plants, birds, tortoises).
@michelle1970 I like the anoles, my daughter had one when she was 4, for her birthday I put him in a Dixie cup tied to a helium balloon, he floated around the living room!
SPECTACULAR close-ups!!!! magnificently-designed iguana - a big part of its tail is missing, i hope it is OK

Glad Connie scared the iguana away....but I gotta say the iguana's coloring and markings were beautiful! 😊💖🦎
I thought so, too, and I'm definitely not into reptiles. Also - it looked like the iguana was missing the end of it's tail!😮
Where was Clive when all of this was happening?
Not today.😂 Talk about a leap of faith. Poor guy. Better than tangling with a momma eagle.😢
Aha, Clive’s iguana trap worked, curses foiled again! Well done, Connie, you are a hero!👏💕🦅

😂thanks Lady Hawk’😮
Good job Connie, your egg is safe and sound 🤗 But I feel sorry for the iguana ....too confident he lacked prudence 🌈 I hope he didn't suffer.
Amazing footage! 😮

Well Iguanas are not native to FL and while I hope it wasn’t hurt, glad to see she defended her nest and got this invasive creature out

Poor Connie! She is one brave Mom! I hope that iguana stays on the ground! Thank you, Lady Hawk!
That Iguana looked fierce but one brief stare down with Connie it was like nope no thanks!
❤ Good job Connie 😊 Congratulations to you and Clive for your egg 😊
Beautiful creature leftover from prehistoric times. The very end of its tail looks to be missing.
Adorable mom 🩷🌹🦅🌟🌟
This happened last year too.
Oh my! Good job protecting your egg, Momma.
So glad mama eagle was there & not taking any nest break or things would've ended very differently. Phew! Fascinating watching this episode of As the Nest Turns. 😆

Would love to know if the Iguana is OK. Thanks Lady Hawk.
Ikr he’s a trooper already had no tail!! He def was hoping to raid that nest.
That iguana reconsidered its plan in a split second after seeing Connie lol.
Oh my word! Scamper on, slithery tongue. Those eggs are not your lunch!
Good girl Connie! Thumbs up and thumbs up to fellow commenters as well! Thank you Lady Hawk!
Wow, cool and yikes! Tfs
❤❤❤
Ah, iguana, it's you? Hi! Go away!
Isn't the iguana injured? Now I think if he got hurt :(
Thank goodness that Big Bear eagles deal with adorable Fiona. I'll take her any day over Captiva's creepy green monster.
😂😂
omg!!!
It was dangerous!!
Iguana is awful and beautiful but lack of tip of tail. What happened to him? 🥵
wow what a beautiful Iguana, stunning colours, I hope it didnt hurt itself when it fell, but it would have been more hurt if it stayed there. Such a good climber, thats a long way up. Good Mumma Eagle for protecting her eggs ❤

Wow! Thanks for the great capture, Lady Hawk! I’ve never seen an iguana that close before! Thanks for all you do!
Beat it, Iggy
Sorry Mr. Lizard. You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here. Shooo!
Wow! Not familiar with the species. Is this one of the invasive iguanas? Maybe someone else can ID it?
It is a Green Iguana, aka American Iguana. Wikipedia has a detailed page on them.
I used the app called Lens to ID it. Just point and tap. I use the app for everything, even translating on TH-cam, when the option isn't available.
Poor iguana 🦎
They are not native to FL and cause lots of issues

Was his intention to eat the eggs?
Yes, absolutely. Green Iguana is an invasive species with a growing population in south Florida. Among other problems, it can negatively impact various native species of wildlife (plants, birds, tortoises).
Godzilla get away from egg
hahaha good bye iguana!!!!!!!!!! lol
I don't feel sorry for that guy at all, they aren't even native to Florida.
That's correct , but yet there are so so many, you see them every where..
@michelle1970 I like the anoles, my daughter had one when she was 4, for her birthday I put him in a Dixie cup tied to a helium balloon, he floated around the living room!
That iguana just tried taking on America, and it lost.
Good Mama Connie!
