The Folk Legacy Trio is George Grove, formerly a member of The Kingston Trio for 41 years; Rick Dougherty, with The Limeliters and The Kingston Trio for 25 years; and Jerry Siggins, formerly a member of a tribute lineup to the 50's group, The Diamonds.
The Folk Legacy Trio sings the Great American Folksong Book™, and songs of the great Folk Era from the ‘50s through the mid-‘70s, including classics from The Weavers, The Kingston Trio, The
Limeliters, Peter Paul & Mary, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Tom Paxton, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver,
and many more. They take audiences on a journey through American Musical History with signature dynamic harmonies and musicianship, enriching some of the most beloved songs ever written.
Coffee Gallery Backstage is a Greenwich Village-style coffee house in the LA area - an intimate listening room, with a great sound system, excellent lighting, and comfortable seating. Impresario, Bob Stane, an iconic figure in the California entertainment scene for 50 years, ran the world famous Ice House in Pasadena, and helped launch careers for The Association, The Smothers
Brothers, Lily Tomlin, Steve Martin, Jay Leno, and David Letterman.
