Tho in my experience horizontal tricks or speed tricks in general are easier with shorter strings

Typically easier with short string, but I find 1.5 horizontal and double or nothing horizontal combos are a tad easier with long string.

I actually made an intro to horizontal series where I go over these concepts. It also helps to stand at an angle so that you can lean back a little bit.

Its impossible to do a 1.5 mount Combo COMPLETELY horizontal which is what James was trying to do at the first place.
