Man I love how you walk through the steps of practicing aspects of horizontal and get used to certain muscle memory, instead of just showing it! Thank you!
This so cool Brandon! Wish I had this a few years ago! I love horizontal tricks. Horizontal and speed tricks are my 2 favorite things to do. I guess it just gives me an adrenaline rush or something. I didn't start to get good at horizontal tricks until about a year ago. It defiantly took some time to master.
One thing I find really helpful(and still do) if you’re scared of being smacked in the face is while doing your turnovers wrap the string three or two times(whatever length you find comfortable) around your middle, index and ring finger. It makes controlling the yoyo really easy and you can go pretty fast and don’t need to be scared about being hit in the face and you can easily drop all three layers of string whenever you want to do horizontal that requires the full length. I’m not sure if it only works for me tho I’ve heard of other ppl using it but just a tip for those who are scared about being hit in the face or want to go faster. Edit:That’s for the getting comfortable section btw
So I watched this yesterday. I've never so much as landed a horizontal trapeze. Today was my first day back at work in months. At lunch my boss came over to check out my yoyoing. I was explaining how horizontall worked, and I said "I can't do this, but this is a banana turn over". Then I nailed a random horizontal combo like it was nothing. I can't do it again
Wow really great video, I had really bad my first horizontal, because I am doing, normal skin the gerbil, but with double trapeze, its more easier and I really like this tutorial :)
I personally think it is better to learn horizontal with an organic yoyo because you get to learn how to control and adjust the tilt of the yoyo. Yoyos with a competitive shape don't tilt easily and is very hard to learn to control the tilt of the yoyo.
Hey Brandon. So I've gotten around to the point where I'm considering buying an outlier but I checked the offsetyoyo website and it appears to be, hacked? I used the link from the offset facebook page and it just keeps sending me in random loops and my antivirus keeps blocking some of the sites. Idk if this is just a glitch or something or if I'm going to the wrong website but I think you may want to check this out.
Had a few of you ask me this on the stream! So here we go, my tips on how to do 'Horizontal' Yoyo tricks.
Hey Brandon, I loved it. Only thing, is you may have forgotten the skin the gerbil tutorial.
@@thelookingcat Nice call out! Just updated it :)

Bro I barely look at a responsive yoyo and it’s already flying back towards my face 😂

Thanks Master Betty!
watched the whole vid, got up and tried it, immediately smashed my nose with the yoyo
Hey Brandon, I try to ask most videos but where can we buy or when can we buy the outlier
Hi Danzel! Outlier is being redesigned. For now we have the Mobius that’s just launched for presale. It’s available at Offsetyoyo.com
Tip use a shutter
I don’t throw my yo-yo the way you do. I use my right hand to throw and I throw the yo-yo towards my right… would there be a difference?
Yeah it would be spinning in the opposite direction
what yoyo is that?
hubertos2 Offset Outlier, version 1 ;)
