One word. Marvellous !
Outstanding!
I love Jocelyn. That smile is amazing, like she's having a wonderful time.
XXX !!!
that tone, those lines. Jocelyn is one of the best jazz guitarists knowadays without a doubt.
Fantastic playing, greatly enjoyed. Every member added something special to the mix, great interplay.
First time I heard her . Now I’m a fan . Thanks for the music .
One of my favorite guitarists: her taste is choosing each single note and pattern and the way she touches the strings is unique!
I guess her basic is a classical guitar...
She's the embodiment of intentionality. I wouldn't be surprised if she picks clothes based on how it translates to the guitar tone/feel.
Great lines, phrasing, and tone!
See her on the Pedal Show, and have listened to everything since, she is a fantastic jazz guitar player, love her style, as per another comment the way she touches the strings is very unique, along with the use of her pick. She has really developed a distinct approach to jazz guitar. When she plays I hear Benson, Montgomery, Methany, Ellis, all coming out at once.
wow! i'm a fan. reminds me of the late great Emily Remler..
Amazing stylish colorful jazz guitar! Great song greetings from california.
One of the most exciting jazz guitarists in the world today. Fantastic, expressive player.
Great playing! Nice to see another bassist still using the venerated GK MB150.
Forgive the newb (Moi) butt fan now ❤the smile reminds of Joyce Cooling + Stardust ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Geaux 🇨🇦
Great plying by all. Can't wait to see Jocelyn at International Guitar Night at the Gordon Center in Owings Mills, MD on March 11, 2023.
I would love to go this fall and see the artists play live.
Love the guitar playing ! Band is great ! Thx 🙏
Beautifully played. Fly Byrds of the North, fly!
What a fabulous sound
Saw tickets for the West End Cultural Centre, that is what brought me here. Wow. I love it.
Lindoooooooooooo demais 🎸🎶🎹🎶🎻🎶🥁🎶👏👏👏👏❤️
Amazing Concert Jocelyn!
Just know her a couple months ago, fan since then.
great music, thank you
Big phat tone on that guitar, it sounds lovely. I personally just use semi hollow body guitars for jazz, I'm too intimated to get a hollowbody because then I couldn't play standing up without feeling too weighed down.
I like semi hollows too. Good balance between tone, weight and looks. She plays beautifully regardless.
Currently, IMHO, Jocelyn Gould is the big thing of jazz guitar. She lives in the happy spot that defies categorizations and brings the peculiar jazz joy... (BTW, her mates are the coolest cats in town).
Nice
Bravi !!
I can't believe you only learned Stardust in 2017! Brilliant performance
this girl ... IMG
her singing is wonderful, great guitar chops but her voice...come on.
Is she playing a fretless guiater
what a shame the band doesn't seem to know the changes on the last A of lover come back
Take the stick out of your butt and try enjoying life.
Not only that but the melody isn’t right either. Ben Webster said it well, learn the melody and the lyrics first.
trust me, I know the changes. I know over 500 tunes, many of which I have learned from original recordings. Don't lecture me on the "correct changes," I am willing to bet you can't even play a convincing blues. Bye.
@@lazdow9229 Oh, well if Ben Webster said something 75 years ago, I guess we have to do as he says for all eternity. It's not like this is jazz, where individual expression and improvisation are valued. As long as you know the "correct melody," you are an "acceptable" musician. Can't go altering a single note of the melody, that would be heresy. I guess Miles Davis was a hack, since he changed melodies all the time. Get a life.
The constant smiling is gross and distracting.
