NFS ProStreet: Announcer Lines for Specific Car vs Car in Drag Events (LAST ANNOUNCER VIDEO)

- Many months ago when my first NFSPS announcer video first blew up, I said I would make another part with the specific dialogue for racing your opponents in a specific car, but I never got around to it because I couldn't be bothered. So, here it is: a video showcasing the most requested announcer dialogue!
Please note: these were REALLY hard to dig up because of random opponents, so if I missed any, please bear with me (and let me know what I missed in the comments). Also I would go through the game's audio files but I have absolutely no motivation to sort through all the dialogue and find all the specific ones I'm looking for 💀
Also if you're wondering why certain lines are "missing" (eg. "Why doesn't Big J comment on Ford v Chevy?"), it's because as far as I can tell they don't exist. There were some that I tried for hours to find but ended up with nothing.
The first chunk of the video will be specific brand vs brand, followed by specific car v. car (I never knew half of these existed tbh)
also I messed up editing and didn't realize it until after, so Roger Evan's comments on Honda v. Toyota and Toyota v. Toyota will be mixed around a bit. Sorry. Technical difficulties and what not.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the announcer videos as well as the other “questionable/odd” car videos!
When I first uploaded my most popular video 9 months ago, I would’ve never in a million years imagined myself getting 10,000 views, let alone 2, almost 300,000 now on a video that was very simple to edit and also in my opinion falls under a very niche topic.
That is insane to me and if 10 year old me making cringe videos recorded on an iPad could see this he’d be freaking out 🤣 you guys are amazing and all of your support means so much to me!
But unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and after this I will no longer be making videos covering announcer dialogue or “odd” cars for the following reasons:
1. I feel I’ve pretty much covered everything that hasn’t been covered already. A lot of you suggested a video covering the announcer dialogue for bringing new cars to a race day, but there are countless videos out there that already cover this. I’m just making videos for voice lines that I couldn’t find already.
2. These videos are REALLY tedious to make. Especially this one, due to constantly having to restart the races to match up with specific opponents to find the dialogue I’m looking for.
3. As stated before, I don’t want to keep milking the announcer videos for views, nor do I want to be strictly known for just the announcer dialogue videos.
However, this is, of course, not the end for ProStreet on this channel! I’m still going to continue viewer requests as well as random moments, but “odd” car videos and announcer dialogue videos are done on this channel.
Also, as always, if you can’t hear the announcer, I am working on some custom subtitles for you to turn on :) pinned comment will be edited when they are done.

The announcers just added another level to the game, really gave you a unique vibe and felt like actual events. This was game was awesome on all fronts.
This and police chatters in MW2005/UC just shows how devoted Black Box was back then with less than 1 year for each game!

Acura Vs. Honda is basically the Spiderman pointing meme, lol
Toyota vs Subaru, Subaru vs Lexus and Toyota vs Lexus also are basically Spider-Man pointing at another Spider-Man. But it seems that there's no announcer lines for that.

You started all these different races, sat through them and/or actually raced them all the way through, spliced all of these moments together in a concise manner, and even timestamped the video.
I got mad respect for how long this probably took.
This video made me respect the writing in this game, too. There's so many different announcer lines that, when playing the game normally, it really feels more natural and alive and interesting. These announcers have so much personality, the game would be so empty without them there.

As for the game writing this is the reason it was one of my favorites, there’s so much that even I missed on MANY playthroughs that I never would’ve thought about, EA really did the most for the announcer dialogue imo
The fact this game was overlooked why Undercover was the one people wanted. What a time that was.
NFS fans back then literally hate everything that isn't Most Wanted. Some even now
@zef9151 I very much second this, like sure MW is great and all but some (not all) fans act like it’s the only game that exists and circlejerk it so hard
I always loved Pro Street, felt like a down to earth Gran Turismo/Forza with cheesy tuning
@@zef9151 I have never understood that literal cult behind MW. In my childhood police pursuits always freaked me out in the carbon. The fact, that I knew, that I may not be able to escape cops if situation is going to get hot due to my not so good driving, putted so much stress on me, due to the actions having consequences, made me hate cop chases in carbon.
I know, that cops in MW are easier to deal with, but still, fact that to complete the game I would have to intentionally put myself in the stress situation from my childhood, still doesn't allows me to fully walkthrough this title, and, to be honest, I don't have any need to complete it anyways.

It would be interesting if you made a video showing the dialogues that the announcers have when a team member destroys his car (e.g. Joe Tackett or JP Laurent, the latter is more curious since he mentions that he destroys one of the 25 pagans in the world ) there are even dialogues for the kings when they destroy their cars

my favorites are the very specific car vs car (eg. Evo 9 vs 10) because I didn't even know those ones existed, and I thought I knew mostly everything about this game by now lol
