  • A long format three point perspective exercise designed to help people learn intuitively. Well done to everyone who has completed the previous episodes! you are well on your way to mastering perspective......take a bow
    This is a simple and intuitive drawing exercise to increase your understanding of two point perspective.
    00:58 Exercise overview
    01:40 Full exercise in real time to draw along to
    This is the fourth episode in the series and will be focussed on three point perspective. The aim of the drawing exercise is to increase your ability through repetition and gradually increasing complexity, whilst stripping away a lot of technical terminology....... that can come later.
    This series is designed to give a full understanding of what perspective drawing is and why I think it's worth learning.
    Really looking forward to sharing my tips and advice, let me know what you think and if you'd like me to cover anything specific in future videos.

    Just wondering when you're hatching whether you're drawing on both the up stroke and down stroke?

    • @Luke.Adam.Hawker

      Thank! good question, the vast majority it's on both, really depends of the delicacy required. I'll go more into this at some point.

      I’ll definitely cover this, following the exercises and repeating will make this far easier, there’s no quick trick to it. It’s all about gaining an awareness and knowledge of the VPs location. I’ll give some deeper advice on how to do this

  • @oowatsthis

    Do you use wavy lines as a way to differentiate them and to see where they are going more easily?
    Also is it better to practice freehand or with ruler?

    Can you teach me how to draw lines like you?,it’s alluring 🥺💙

    • @Luke.Adam.Hawker
      @Luke.Adam.Hawker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll definitely create some videos specific to line quality, that should give a little more insight. the key is to relax, both physically in terms of your grip, and mentally. Thank you!
