I am glad I watched your other videos. Never been here and I'm going to make it a point to get there today. Looks awesome that looks like the perfect meat to bun ratio.
Pace’s in Saugus is where I do my groceries shopping Love it there Their deli is solid cause they have the real pecorino Romano and parm cheese They have the real Italian meats too But for some reason I can’t stand their Italian sub and other subs they do there I don’t know if the sub spot inside is run by another company or what Their chicken parm and meatballs are laid out in the tray cover open all day They’re quite skimpy on their subs too Don’t know if seaports is any different tho
@@michaelimondithereal yeah there is probably a difference by location. the seaport deli guys are ok. But the one that was by MGH or the original in the north end were great.
There was a great sub shop in N. Reading way back in the sixties and seventies. My father took us there. He knew every good foodspot in eastern mass. If it is the same one the name has changed??!!
Try Al's State Street Cafe in Boston. Large sub $11.50. My personal favorite is South Street Café Special Extra Lean prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, basil and plum tomatoes topped with just enough olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
@@michaelimondithereal I always thought the good price was due to the line out the door onto the sidewalk every day. I accept your opinion, your a good reviewer and tell it like you see it. I like your style.
@RomeoEdward I appreciate it And I do it for everyone to get the best So you know I’m not staring you wrong Good food is one of the best pleasures of life
Nice looking hoagie, REAL. Even though I'm not in that area, I appreciate the tips of where to park and when to order, that's key information to know. When you make it back down to Philly you gotta stop at Cosmi's deli for any of the heavyweight champ cheeseseak, cutlets, and Italian hoagies. Follow the same rules you have for NDF when coming by, get there early and pray for parking! Also, take your ass back to Angelo's or Johns and try the other heavy hitters. Literally EVERYTHING at Angelos is a hit, cant go wrong. Italian Pork sandwiches are waiting, REAL. Stay safe, pal
Durum is really good. Not as wet as this sub looks, but there’s a ton of meat, and I think it was $16 or $17. Hard to beat that, really. Also, I can put away a large amount of food, and like this one, the Italian at durum is two meals for me. I could probably put it down in one shot, but I’d get the meat sweats.
NEW DEAL is my kind of ITALIAN GROCER and walking in that store and looking at all the best things to eat sends me into a swoon like I've gone to heaven, honest Injun ! Bring your big fat wallets with you 'cause you'll want one of everything I'm sure. GREAT PLACE.
Has to be on the list of places for me to check out. Ever in Londonderry NH check out Mr Steer for an Italian sub. Loaded with Boars head meat and $10. Best in the area.
I used to work at that AutoZone. We could care less how many people park in our lot. Fill it up so no customers can come into AZ and bug us. As far as that rotary is concerned MSP give out marked lane violations there all the time. SHOW ME ANY LANE MARKINGS IN THAT ROTARY!!!!!
Bob's used to have good hot peppers , but last 3 times I got their hot peppers on a sandwich it had 4-7 stems attached out of 8 of their peppers... there never should be anything on a sub you can't eat , especially at an over 18 buck price point.
East Boston 02128 - Meridian Food Market Super Italian. Try it. Compare and ask for it on a braided roll. Freddy, Paulie and their Mom are the REAL DEAL.
Shredduce takes an Italian to the next level. It holds on to a lot of the oils that would otherwise wind up making the bread soggy or leaking down your wrist. Plus it provides a difference in texture that takes the whole thing up a notch.
Agreed way overpriced that sub is 2295 you can go to any local Italian restaurant in revere and get a chicken parm with salad pasta bread 1895 sit down and enjoy it
I understand this take from you I do But other places don’t have the unique meats they have in this sub like chourico and prosciutto salami But I understand cause it is expensive But it serves you two times in the day So there’s that
If the sub is large and loaded with high quality cold cuts and toppings, it deserves a higher price than the usual chain sub sandwich. If I can get 2 MEALS from a higher priced sub, I will buy it.
I am glad I watched your other videos. Never been here and I'm going to make it a point to get there today. Looks awesome that looks like the perfect meat to bun ratio.
that Italian looks amazing, gonna have to take the trip.
It’s def worth it
great presentation and style, stands out from the ocean of other reviewers. great looking sub as well.
Appreciate it
Nothing beats a New Deal Italian, worth it and the guys behind the counter make it all that much better with their color commentary!
No doubt
They’re the very best at it
great video...keep up the good work!!
Appreciate it
Thanks for watching!!
Great to hear the Boston accent😊
The price is insane
Great sandwich. Also give J.Pace and Sons yolo sub a try down in the seaport. I lived off of Pace when they used to be by MGH and I lived in Boston.

Can the pickles, can the lettuce. Everything else is welcome in my Italian sub. Paulie
Hell yeah, raised in revere here. Nothing holds a candle to the top shelf!
It’s true
Bobs in Medford and the rest don’t have the same quality of meats
@@michaelimondithereal would be curious to get your thoughts on the steak and cheese from super sub (Beverly) and other north shore spots.
@anthonydelorenzo6481 I’m gonna hit them all
No doubt
But I got a big list myself
Always open for suggestions tho
New Deal is really the best! My favorite sandwich they do is called The Big Bambino! Fabulous!
I’ve had
Its tremendous
Mike
Have you tried the Hornet’s Nest in North Reading for their Steak & Cheese
They make their own bread as well
Try it
No but I’ll keep it nine
May take a while to get to it tho
I got a long list
Thanks for the suggestion tho
@ Mike
Try DiCara’s Deli in North Reading for an Italian
It’s on 28 right after Dandi lyons
Someone else said this
I’ll jot it down
But I have a long list
So it’ll take time to get there
But I will

Seafood
@@michaelimondithereal True, but I'm from New Brunswick Canada, so that's not what comes to mind first for me LOL

Top Shelf

maybe try Guiseppe's in nonantum newton, large italian with hots, nice video
I’ll see to it if I can

Yep yep
Now I need a sub.

I need to see layers of imported provolone broh.
I can understand that
But for me I need great quality mortadella
P.S. Tuttos in Hyde Park...fantastic!
I’ll look into it

Yes
Very good Sandwich
But really 23 dollars
Seriously that’s a rip off
These days
Show me a good deal
$15 is the new $5
Lettuce on an Italian??? WTF!!!
I feel you
But trust me it’s perfect on this sub in particular
Shredduce takes an Italian to the next level. It holds on to a lot of the oils that would otherwise wind up making the bread soggy or leaking down your wrist. Plus it provides a difference in texture that takes the whole thing up a notch.
No sub is worth 23 dollars
Sliced imported cold cuts are the best but Top Shelf price is ridiculous
It’s the world we live in today
$15 is the new $10
@ Mike for 23 dollars you should be getting a great Veal sandwich
@joecoletti7970 I get it
Trust me I do
But I’m a degenerate gambler

For $23 I'm going to Market Basket.
Way too expensive......like twice as much as some other great sub shops...who use the same great rolls and boars head meats

It's a hoagie
Depends where you’re at
But not it’s a sub!!!
Great f video kid!
Thanks!! I appreciate that
I Don't care what he says it's overpriced
Well the problem is
You either pay for quality or crap
Any good Italian sub will cost the same
If the sub is large and loaded with high quality cold cuts and toppings, it deserves a higher price than the usual chain sub sandwich. If I
can get 2 MEALS from a higher priced sub, I will buy it.
I wouldn't say overpriced. Expensive? Yes, but the for quality it's worth it.
