@slouchygamer3266If you mean that Fromsoft continues to make games under the "Souls Like" core format sure. As for actually continuing the series? Highly doubtful.
I'm so glad the soloist had such a great voice. She did a great job. I've waited years for a live orchestra to cover this, and this will suffice. Though I hope one day a national orchestra will cover it.
@@karennafoley3640no way youre the soloist ? Your voice is something else , like it shook me to my core ......im just struck by the performance , there was legit no way this couldve been any better , congrats on the performance and keep it up !!!
I'll never forget the first time I played dark souls 3. I bought the game as soon as it came out, never having played a dark souls game before. All I knew was that it would be a challenge, and I decided I was up for it. I opened the game and was immediately stunned to silence by the main theme. I just sat there, taking it in. It remains one of my favorite video game songs of all time.
Dark Souls 3 definitely refined the series to a well oiled Dark Souls machine. The atmosphere in 3 is just so good. I wish it did more with the characters and story, but you can't really deny that there was this cool sense of awe about the places you would go.
I’m pretty sure ds3 was the last game I purchased while still having to bring my mother to buy it, they gave you an extra disc for the OST on the side and we bumped that shit all the way home
I sing in a choir(amateur tenor) and 2 per voice is the bare minimum. You have to inhale when your buddy is signing and vice versa. It takes coordination, but it is doable. Also guys do not hesitate to sing. We are outnumbered and need reinforcements :)
Yuka Kitamura is a genius in composition, combining elements of Baroque southern european music, classical northern european orchestral elements and japanese style progression. Literally cannot beat it.
The best about kitamura is how she makes her songs. In an interview asking how she comes up with them she says that she listens to Miazaki rant about the theme and character he wanna explore to wich then she just sits at a piano tapin notes till she finds a motif and goes "oh that sounds good" and then just writes an orchestra of that. Truly a Mozart of the modern age
@@dziosdzynes7663even if they don't, it is still ridiculous that ds3 has some of the best compositions in gaming history and was robbed by a game that only has like 1 stock sound effect

I love Elden Ring and so much of what it offers, but the magic of DS3 and what it means to me just hit me when I heard those notes. You did this cover JUSTICE. Thank you all so much.
Everyone was amazing, but I gotta give specific props to the soloist cause Yuka Kitamura's insane vocals are VERY hard to match and she did an excellent job putting her own spin on it. Fantastic work!
everytime this song gives me goosebombs... a reminder of the memories i have with dark souls 3... a new world a new fantasy... gave a new taste to my life
I was in a choir for school at one point so I know how hard it is, but there is a bit of an issue with the choir being overshadowed by the orchestra. The soloist was great with the vocals and volume too because of the mic, but the choir was a bit hard to hear. There's always the attempt of putting mics in front of the choir, but it's so hard to get that to work when you aren't singing directly into a mic. Edit: I love that guy directly behind the soloist just jamming out on the violin, lol
Dark Souls 3 will never be Dark Souls 3 without ost.
