    6:36 My pillagers kept getting clogged for a bit and it would just eventually build up. I replaced the fences with glass panes and it worked way better.

      I replaced the bottom fence with pressure plates and the blocks under water with packed ice and working fine.

    For those that have issues with them being clogged.
    So where the soul sand is, 2 blocks up, take out a 2x2x1 section in the corner, the water should flow at an angle in to it. that will pull in the pillagers.

    Hello, great vid btw. Just wanna ask since I can't find it in the video, do you need the walls around the farm? Cause some of the pillagers aren't attracted the golems. If so how far should I build the walls from the fence?

      The wall are totally optional. I mainly put them up so I could run away and hide from pillagers when building

    The iron golems are still hurting the pillagers even when i put full blocks instead of glass even in the corners. is there a fix to this?

    The golems are hitting the pillagers through the glass, causing them to die when they hit the slab.

      @@graymatter-gaming Actually there is an easier way tho. you can place water on a slab so they won't die, and still be damaged by golems

    I've seen this and a similar, simpler build both use magma blocks underneath the walls surrounding the perimeter of the farm. What purpose do they serve? Do those blocks have to be magma blocks? Just curious...

      Mobs avoid magma blocks thus making sure they don't get to close. If you want to eliminate them, I would still put them at the end of the fence or they may walk around it.

    Hi, the iron golems aren't attracting the pillagers properly, or they just die. Any way to fix it?

      If the golems are getting hit, I would check how far you made the perimeter (fence/wall area). As long as there is water inside the wall/fence area pillagers should not spawn inside that area and outside that area they should not have the range to hit them.

      I fixed it, I was missing the second batch of water, so the pillagers would get pushed into the inside by the other pillagers

    does anyone know if this still works in the current version or 1.20.2?

      I have not built a new one yet (server died some time ago) but I see no reason this would not work.
      A revamp of this is on my To Do list, just not sure how soon.

    I built the farm but now the pillagers don’t spawn anymore. I lowered the platform but it hasnt helped. They aren’t even spawning when im on the ground. Please send help

      That is bizarre, the build in the video is on a server as well. While you were building it, did you notice if the pillagers spawned outside the outpost?

      That makes no sense. Only possibilities I can think of is either the server os now peaceful or there is some spawn close enough to cap it out.

    I've used ur Farm and it works great but I have 2 questions
    1 what's the radius of of blocks u flattened out for pillagers spawning as I assume it makes it more efficient when it's flat then mountainous
    2 js there a reason for the pillagers being clogged at the soul sand shooting then up because I find that sometimes all the pillagers clog up at the point they are meant to be shot up at

      I flattened out a bit over 72 x 72. I did this as the spawn area is 72x54x72 from the center of the top floor. and makes the pillagers have an easier time seeing the golems.
      If they are getting clogged in the bubble elevator, remove a block behind the soul sand to force the flow.

      It's not they're getting clogged in the bubble elevator it's more they are building up trying to enter the elevator

      Try removing a block from behind the soul sand. There probably is not enough flow. I had to do that modification after the video went live

      I think I understand. The center of the outpost is found by counting the blocks from one wall of the tower to the other.

    is the massive flat area important?
    because my pillager outpost is on the slope of a steep mountain kinda, and in a nutshell, i won't be able to mine that out.

    so i built this in my survival world but ive noticed that my pillagers r getting stuck in the underground part near the water elevator idk if i did something wrong or not

      That has come up in the past. To fix this you need to nock out a block behind the bubble elevator. For a better explanation, see my video on bubble elevators

    what do i do the pillagers when theres going more than one they get stuck and causes a blockage also if one manages to go through it gets hit by the golems and dies on impact what do i do?

      Both these issues came up in earlier posts.
      To fix the pillagers getting stuck, nock out a block behind the water column to force the water to pull them in.
      As for the golems hitting them the options are to either move the kill chamber up or not worry about it. It won't be 100% efficient, but should get you bad Omen quick

      I built a rail line up to it, but elytra, bubble elevator or just a simple staircase would work. Just make sure if it's in the spawnable area that it is a non spawnable block like glass.

    Im having an issue with the bubble tube, they’re getting stuck in between the fences and on the slab and jamming the whole thing (and absolutely firing squading me when I try and fix it), has this happened/do you know a fix?

    If i build the farm with the bottom of the outpost level of Y=70, does it matter if there are empty spaces below it where other mobs could spawn? For example at Y=69,68 so on, would it affect pillager spawn rates? I wanna build a flat 72x72 area around my outpost so i would have to cover up some cave entrances and some terrain but im not sure about filling up the area below it.

      As long as your farm is within the spawn radius of the center top block of where the outpost was/is it should not matter... but make sure you don't have caves in that spawn radius or pillagers could get trapped.

      2 possibilities I can think of....
      Either the slabs are "bottom" slabs (there should be space between the fence and the slabs
      Or at 8:56, I remove a few blocks from the roof. It can be as high as needed as long as there is a roof.

      Should work without it, I tend to place them anywhere I want a mob to walk off but the watter should still push it.

      Nock a block out at the back of the elevator to force the water to flow into the elevator.

    in my farm they get stuck right before the tube to the top. how can i fix that

      If the upper tube does not have 3 blocks of clearance, the pillagers can get stuck. if you have that clearance, make sure you have "solid" water blocks all the way up so the bubble column goes to the top.

      You can build on it, but to keep the golems safe while still attracting the pillagers you would need to clear the bottom level

      From what I've gathered, the iron golems may get a hit in every now and then. A solution is to raise the kill chamber bit things may need more then 1 hit. I personally have not raised it as I find I can stack bad Omen enev if some die.

      They are hitting them as they go up the elevator. I believe their hit box is extending out the corners. Some additional blocks as you say, may block that.

      When I tested it I put the villager above the kill chamber. Raid would start, and any pillager dropped into the chamber increased the raid mob count. Also for the raid to not instantly stop, you need a platform for the raid to spawn on

      @@graymatter-gaming so I put my villager next to the drop like touching it and had job and Bed for him when a raid started it spawed a lot of pillagers but they were glitch they didn’t wanna go down the holes they would run back and fourth near the fences do you know why it did this ?

      I find if mobs are not falling off an edge, a trap door usually fixes that. On my test that produced an infinite raid, I had a sensor that would dispence water to flush them

      Pillager spawn is decreased if it is night. Other then that, could be too high up. Build a little staircase down around the tower and see where the sweet spot is. The you can modify the tower or just build a spot to stand until they build up in the kill chamber

      That distance should make it so that only mobs within the farm spawn. The lower you get, the wider the spawn radius becomes.

      If I remember correctly, I made it 72 x 72 around the center as that is the spawn radius of the pillagers. It is not needed, but that gave me a safety net to run away to and prevents other mobs from wandering in as only pillagers can spawn in the 72 x 72 area

      You could try solid bricks instead of glass. Might prevent them from targeting. I never really noticed it until someone pointed it out here.

      Thanks for confirming that. I've never considered this to be an issue, but it may be impacting the efficiency as they may die from the fall.

      I'm not sure if it will work on bedrock.
      Based on the Minecraft Wiki...
      "In Bedrock Edition, they spawn at or below a particular location in the outpost; specifically, they choose the northwest corner of the highest opaque block with a non-solid block on top."
      I made one a long time ago on bedrock and had to leave the structure in tact. It was a wildly different design then this one.

      Not sure, they pillagers need a sight line to them so perhaps you accidentally blocked it

      The glass panes at the "feet" of the golem should not be connected as well as their head should poke out above the glass just slightly.
      If it's not a line of sight issue, did you make the wall suround at the proper distance?

      Pillagers can spawn anywhere within the 72 x 54 x 72, but I do not believe they will spawn in water.
      I also saw some testing that showed pillagers need light to spawn

      You can afk at the kill chamber if you use an auto clicker

      No more the 128 blocks from the Lowes part of the farm. I will check my numbers in a bit and let you know

      My afk spot, when at the kill chamber is 76 blocks above the ground level (y139 in my case)

      yes and no. y level relative to the original top floor matters. the spawn radius for an outpost is 72×54×72 centered of the top floor of the outpost.

    Pillagers get stuck at the bottom of the water elevator

      As mentioned in an earlier comment, try removing a block from behind the elevator to force the flow. If this makes no sense, check out my bubble elevator video

    Great video, I have a question though. Let's say the pillager outpost bottom level was on Y level 74. Could I lower the farm down a couple blocks and would it still spawn/work normally?

      As long as you don't lower it to mutch. The spawn area is 72x72x54 from the center of the top of the outpost.

      7 blocks should not effect it as the majority of the farm's spawn points will still be in range.

      I do not believe so based on the following info...
      "In Bedrock Edition, they spawn at or below a particular location in the outpost;" (minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Pillager_Outpost).
      As this farm removes the outpost it would probably ruin the spawn.

      In Bedrock Edition, they spawn at or below a particular location in the outpost; specifically, they choose the northwest corner of the highest opaque block with a non-solid block on top.
      I have not tested it, but I think this would only impact where the center of the farm is

      At an outpost, Pillager spawn is effected by light. The less light, the lower the spawn rate. If it is snowing, the light may be lower resulting in fewer spawns. Other then that, I do not believe snow should prevent the spawn.

      @@guyfranco8478 That would just depend on spawn RNG. they should spawn in a 72×54×72 block centered on the top floor or the outpost (even if it is dismantled)

    Elevator is not working

      I found if the elevator is slow or not working removing the lower 2 blocks behind the water stream help pull in the mobs

      A= the fence post
      B= The soul sand
      X= Blocks to remove
      Mobs/water is coming from the bottom left

      That is exactly how I set up the raid farm. I have a railway that connects the two. You should check out that video as well
