Birmingham, Ala 10-17-22 went to 38º and tonight - 32º. It will be back in the 80's next week but I am afraid my tomatoes may not survive. It was your encouragement that gave me the energy to try some of your ideas. I only had 3 totes but I got 3 peppermint plants in the ground and have given them compost tea. I am looking forward to next spring with your inspiration. Thank you and God Bless you and Gary.♥

That's a new one... I've never seen anyone use kitty litter like that. Very interesting.
When I worked as a plant propagator we used a blend half perlite and half smaller grade pumice in screen bottomed nursery flats. It worked great, but we had to stay on top of watering the flats before they dried out was all. It's really good for shrub and tree cuttings, or half hard perennial stem cuttings.
3 years ago I bought Black Gold seedling mix and had to return it 3 times! Each bag was a different run number and all 3 were full of big chunks of cedar and was mostly cedar fines. It was awful. I've gone back to professional grade seedling mixes since that disheartening experience. I'm not sure how long I'll be at to afford it though so am looking to try your method after I get moved.
Love your videos, I always learn something new.

Hi those diapers can be used as a liner in hanging pots they contain the same thing as orbiz and fake snow. I don't open them, just open in bottom of pot and fill with dirt. The plants use up everything so they need replaced every year or so.

    Love the

Thank goodness for your ingenuity and innovative ideas.
But please slow down in current videos as you still often talk too fast to understand and your suggestions are too important to miss. You put so much of your time, effort, and thoughts into your 12:54 almost daily messages it’s a shame not to be understood. Every climate and weather conditions would use as needed, you would mix in more or less into your soil depending on what you are growing, if a plants needs more water, than add more, experiment with it and see what works best for you. I will have more coming later on this topic, THANKS

I look forward to next years growing season, I feel much better with the change in medication it shouldn't take 3 day to do 10 small pots. For anyone who is interested, if you are on medication for a chronic illnesses and you keep feeling more and more run down or worse inspite of the Dr telling you you should feel better keep at them or get another opinion. Some Dr's won't listen or are just set in their ways, what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Blessings to all.

Normally just soil, but to save on expensive potting soil you could put some cheap Kitty litter in first.

Can u put kitty litter in tree holes before you plant the trees? In zone 9 b - very hot summers for 3 months over 100 degrees - am waiting til fall to plant my fruit trees as the leaves are burning to a crisp in full sun - had to put in the shade in pots for now😅

Is it clumping or non clumping. I tried a bag I got from Bunnings here in Australia, which is clumping type and it instantly dissolves into a porridge looking paste. Looks terrible…

I live in the Rocky Mountains. Do the solar fountains become damaged when temperatures drop below freezing? I think so.

Sallie, I live in southern Colorado and I have solar fountains that I’ve made watching Robbie. I cleaned mine out and put it away for the winter. Im pretty sure our deep freeze winters would ruin the solar fountains.

I don’t think it would hurt it but I can’t say for sure because we don’t get that cold here so I leave them out all year

How funny you want less talk and I have tons come in saying they want it longer. So I try to do both occasionally short and long 😊
