How blessed Italians are to have such beautiful, history rich properties all over Italy. Not as much historical beauty here in the USA. We are just too young of a country. I really appreciate your tours of these beautiful properties!
More than being “young”, Americans are consumerists and their leadership capitalists. With that combination there will never be quality of true design and structure.
Oh My 12th century Charming! The stonework is beyond grand. So much space for storage as well. The home offers a wonderful outside space and a soothing inside vibe. Well worth the $$. Thank you so much Nick for sharing your beautiful properties with us.
Oh, be still my heart! The first floor apartment is absolutely darling! Not all that much to do, really. Perfectly adorable kitchen and flow onto the terrace. There's a sweet but ancient simplicity to the grounds. The shed? A studio if one needs one. The second apartment entrance has the feel of entering a huge wine making vat. I love it. Cozy reading nook in the third apartment upper level. A delightful roof terrace with weapons turrets! I absolutely love this personal castle for one creative with a modest inheritance. A former artist, to be this close to Florence? Heaven. Nick! Aren't you the lucky lad to have the ins and outs of these marvelous properties! THANK YOU.
The castle is imperial elegance. The outside landscape and terrace area stonework makes for a lovely hide away to refresh. The interior spaces are simply wonderful, simplistic, yet dazzling. The views of the surrounding countryside are grand...what a splendid tour, thanks Nick it was fab!!!
Will cost 250K to undo the damage done by the subdivision. It’s a great space, that’s been ruined by converting it into three spaces. If you convert it back into a single space, it could make a really great 3 bedroom house
@@italianproperty Besides for the general construction, there’s bound to be electrical and plumbing issues which will need to be addressed. Converting that back and doing it right is going to cost a minimum of 200K. More likely 300K. I split the difference and came up with 250K. There’s also the issue of getting the contractors out there to do the work. It’s all just guesswork on my part since I’m not that familiar with Italian contractors, but I have been a real estate broker in NYC for 30 years. I have done a lot of sales that required gut renovations. A lot of sales that required just cosmetic work. A few sales that were apartments to be combined. I’m just going on my experience and what I see. The tour was great 👍
wow....that first apartment you showed is just delightful...well all of them are - this has to be my favorite video yet - I wish more places were designed with turns, and nooks, and special rooms with unique windows - here in the states it's all just so boxy with little character. Thanks for the trip Nick!
Charmy and cozy property. Amaizing views !! I love the bedrooms and bahtrooms. Stunning distribution of apartments and bedrooms. An excelent job of restauration. The price is perfect. As is usual a perfect job Nick. Thank you

As per usual much lovelier on the outside. Italian properties are so challenging. It needs a renovation for sure. We renovated our 12th century fortress six years ago in Tuscany. Modernized it, it is perfection now. Hate that they covered up the beautiful ancient characteristics of this place all the patina is GONE. Painted the stones ugh. It has great bones but needs loads of updating and TLC. Hoping whoever buys it brings it back to it's glory.
The best art of this property, Nick, is the beautiful swimming pool and the magnificent sunny surroundings. I was not too keen on the staircase leading to the roof terrace.
Oh my...now that is a castle. In the main (last) apartment, as you entered...I felt the castle. Of all of your lovely property tours, that was the most charming to me. I am of german/irish/portuguese descent but feel such a strong connection to the Italian properties and countrysides that you present with your visits that if feels almost like a trip home. Perhaps a former life? :) Love love loved it xoxoxo
Just coming back from our vacation in Umbria, so I can compare very well. A property and castle so typical for that (wonderful) area. The landscape is Toscany at its best, so lovely, so beautiful. Thanks as always for the efforts ypu take, Nick, to present these gems on your channel. Greetings from DE J.
To live in a castle in Tuscany would be most peoples dream I think. Time to try and win the lottery! Another great tour Nick.. looking forward to next weeks property.. Enjoy the rest of your weekend ☀️🇮🇹
Wonderful property and location with views galore! A pool and gorgeous outdoor spaces that add so much value to life. I’d be surprised if it isn’t snapped up right away. I love these trips to Italy ❤️ Thank you, Nick! It makes Saturday a special event 🤜💥🤛
Stunning indeed, Nick! Love the woodland surrounding the property, and find myself imagining the ones who lived there so long ago❤ You’re looking bright and shiny, as usual. Your positive attitude is delightful 😊 Thank you for this awesome vid Watching your “one takes” is part of my weekly feel-good routine Cheers!!🌺
Loved the old stonework and all the apartments were nice. Loved the arched doorway going into the smaller apartment, I think it was the smaller one, May have it mixed up. Should make someone a nice home & rental property for income. Thanks for showing, and I just want to say I really enjoy your tours and you are always so upbeat & have a great sense of humor. Have a great weekend & great week, looking forward to your next tour.
Wow a castle! Perfect for a wanna be Princess like me 😅. I actually like all the retro tiles. It gives the place a sense of the generations. I would maybe update two of the kitchens though.
It's amazing that somehow you always manage to convey the atmosphere of these properties. Perhaps it is because they are done in one take or perhaps it is because you do much more than just describe what you see. I love the home made barn, the grounds and views, the stonework, the stairwell, the roof terrace and all the doors. It's a really unique property. I hope it finds the Right Owner. If the timing was right, I would split the bill between myself and three friends. Are all the apartments on one title? THANK YOU NICK.🏰
🧀🥖🍷🫒🍓A Castle! Im glad it has been utilised and maintained. I wish it was one big querky home though. Its beautiful. I love apartment 3. Thanks Nick, have a lovely week. ❤️🇦🇺🦘
Great business and home property. So convenient to Florence for those who like a quiet retreat with their Art. Very useful for gathering the family at Christmas too. 4.5 hectares would be self sustaining for food and wood. Good job I don't have the money in my backpocket right now. I couldn't talk myself out of this one. Hmm. That's really an if only...
This is a truly amazing castle in a beautiful setting. The "crenelations" at the top set it off perfectly. You can be king of all you survey. Or maybe just a duke or baron. 😅😂 I noticed an area off a bit on the outside with lawn chairs. Is there a pool there?
What a great little tower. Live in the ground floor apartment of many levels and re-decorate the two holiday apartments. Glam up the single bedroom apartment up into the perfect Honeymoon getaway every bride dreams of. Top of the tower apartment needs a new kitchen, put twin beds in its downstairs bedroom for the kids and on the top floor cut the landing in half to turn that half into a luxury bathroom for the bedroom. Well that's what I would do. Oh, and take out the second downstairs bathroom, it's not needed and knock down the wall and extend the kitchen.
At that price, the castle must come with crossbowmen and men-at-arms. 😉 Enjoyed the rambling nature of the lower living area, not thrilled with the tightness of the second one, although the top one is special. I'm imagining some one could turn the place into a full sized dwelling without apartments. Anyway, glad ya showed it to us, cheers!😎🥂👍
Beautiful . So well maintained each apartment unique. The grounds are stunning and love the fact you can be in Florence in twenty minutes. Guess if you wanted to quietly go up to the rooftop that would be impossible 🤣 so funny. Thanks again Nick for a wonderful tour and a smile on my face on a Saturday morning here in Maine. Have a beautiful blessed day 🍂🍄🌻🍁🐿🎃
Oh, to be king of that castle... This truly is a spectacular property. I really like the stone and the woodwork. The mix of various renovations/updates over the years is fine. Of course, the tiles in all the bathrooms and the third kitchen need to go, but that's insignificant for a property this size. With those wonderful views, I would have never guessed it's only 20 minutes from Florence. By the way, what's the name of the town that's nearby? Well, Nick, this is another fantastic tour!
A 12th century castle - where is the dungeon? Surely a Florentine lord of this era would have adversaries, and need proper accommodations for them. Would make a great cellar for wine and such. Nice video, but not a fan of remodeling the era out of a structure. Was hoping for a grand entryway with a stately chandelier, tapestries hung from the walls, a throne room of sorts, or at least a reception area. Entering through the front door into a kitchen or out of kilter room just feels awkward. Lovely, but needs it heritage restored. Keep up your great videos, it is part of my Saturday morning routine, getting to see this part of Italy.
This one just makes me curious to know how it was all them years ago…. I’m afraid I have to agree with Keith. It seems all the bit peculiar but would make one spectacular place but would cost a lot I guess

I have to agree. This was a fairly thoughtless division of space. I think take everything out and redesign the entire place and it could be great.
@@jacobseal yes indeed. But of course, that should be reflected in the price. This becomes much more of a 900k house, not 1.3 million 🤷♂️
@@keithss67 I didn't want to say it but yeah it is IMO overpriced.

I love the 1st flor apartment since it has the taste a castle should have, and I like the winter garden as well. Thank you Nick
The main one was my fave due to the stone!!
