😁😂🤣I remember those gigantic knockers on the doors in Florence & the Medicis Balls were everywhere!!!😆😂🤣 Incredibly beautiful city!!! Loved it all!!!😘❤
This was such a fun video Julie! Just WOW on both of these properties! I'd have to go with the walled garden apartment - despite me being an art historian and art conservator and being blown away by the Buontalenti apartment in the city center, I'd love the apartment with the vast garden to explore, relax in, and entertain in. I'd then make friends with whoever buys the Buontalenti apartment so that I could visit and enjoy the art!
They are both stunning but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one. You can feel the history throughout the hallways and it doesn't feel like living inside a museum. That backyard is EVERYTHING. The perfect place to relax, meditate, ground, and spiritual connection. 🧘♀
I was a bit torn between the two. The garden was amazing. However, I love art. It is displayed through my home. Apartment 2 really has my heart. The infusion of historical art and the playful use of modern sculpture in that setting is something I admire. Number 2 gets my vote.
The second one was beautiful in it's own right, but it felt like a museum. The first one was incredibly beautiful, and the privacy afforded by the gardens was priceless! I vote #1.
OMG I've never been so excited for a video when it comes to properties in the Florence. I Studied European Studies, with a focus on culture and art history at University and was lucky enough to visit Florence. The first property was a true oasis! The second property is exquisite and is my favourite out of the two. I truly appreciated the the frescos, the history of the place even through the screen, I can only image what it must be like to be there in person.
I drooled over the Bountalenti Apartment! O my gosh! As a history addict, I would love to live in that! Dandee Bitancor here, dreaming from the Philippines 🇵🇭 😊😍
Wow Julie the apartments we saw in this video in Florence being sold by Dreamer Real Estate are simply divine and historically amazing but for me the 2nd Buontalenti apartment would be my vote choice (submitted my vote) with the historic art paintings going back to the Medicis because my ancestry goes back as far as the Medicis in Florence! My family - My Grandfather was Marchese Piero Gherardi D'Aragona del Turco ( he was an opera singer at La Scala in Milan) and the Gherardi family owned a palazzo in Santa Croce. We also have popes In our family, Clement XII (who commissioned the Trevi fountain in Rome)Pope Pius II, Papa Piccolomini and a saint, St Andrea Corsini. As well as being connected to the well known Corsini, Colonna and Guicciardini family, whose family I helped to teach English to when I spent a year in Florence when I was 20 years old and love it so much. We really loved the history and vlog so much. Best wishes Christina and Nick Findell, Crediton, Devon UK.
Hi from another Julie. Went to Florence with my Dad after my mother passed away. Such a fun trip and to be able to travel with my Dad was priceless. LOVE FLORENCE and I got to see the David. OMG so beautiful!!!
Such breathtaking homes! I think I might be a little anxious about breaking something very old and precious though! But, living in either, you could spend the rest of your life learning all about the architecture and its creators, the frescos, the artists, the families who've lived there, the garden and the designers...sounds like a dream to me!
Thank you Julie for showing us these beautiful apartments in Florence. It was like taking a "private tour" of these magnificent places. The history of each place was amazing and you are the perfect host! Great job Julie!
The first one was amazing.…the grounds were absolutely breathtaking and the sheer history transformed me and was so heartwarming..a former convent..wow
I've never been to Italy, but I love it from afar. Those houses are unbelievable - historic, tasteful, elegant, yet livable. I'd be hard pressed to choose between the two of them. The closing image of Florence at night is breathtaking - so romantic!
N0. 1 San Niccolo Oltrarno This is the most extraordinary and to think it had been a convent. Cn just picture wandering the gardens with my husband and relaxing along the way as we go. Being inside would be like living in heaven and the Frescos are absolutely gorgeous! (Not literarily) but would love every minute of it. Have never been to Italy but my grandfather moved from Italy to America many years ago . Nothing through like Tuscany area from what i have seen on You Tube in pictures etc. The library and apartment are just so very special, and it is true a person who owned it could have it for a place for nice parties and walking into the garden and it truly is very pleasant in so many ways, N0 2 Buonialenti has such an atmosphere! The Medici family home! I really love history and although number one blew me away , I have to say this one really calls to me. How thrilling to even step inside a home by that family!! Just seeing it on you tube just made my stomach have butterflies. This truly is exquisite. So, must say for myself I am unusual and will say No 2 will call to me, The coffered ceilings are very unique! Very lovely balcony. I know this would maybe be it, for outdoor living, but it is fine, there is plenty to do, am sure. (The frescoes and sculpture pieces were so very fantastic in N0 2!) Guess it is a: "Dream come true!" Home sweet home!" Hearing the Bells chime, was awesome! Perfect timing for Tea! Some one will do well no matter which one they should want to purchase! Julie thank you for giving this opportunity to enjoy at least getting to see these lovely palaces! It is great to at least travel from my chair, anyway! lol Not quite the same but we have you to truly give us the feeling of what you are seeing and sensing. I have trouble shopping and it takes me a long time, so this will be very hard, and I could change my mind but think right now this is it!? But cannot wait until we see the next two! Cannot imagine what is coming next!!!?? lol Cannot imagine it getting even better.
How exquisite! Both of them for different reasons! The first one…..oh my hat! I’d use that library space for house concerts and vocal masterclasses…..the uses are endless….and the garden! Oh wow! The Buontalenti apartment is beyond stunning! What more does one need? Perfection! Thanks for bringing these delights to us. Am dreaming of beautiful Florence. ❤
Hmmm it's more about the garden with the first "apartment" (really that's what it's called) and with the second it's the modern decor in a Renaissance palatial setting. Can't wait to see the next two!!!
Mine too. Apartment two was more like a museum or hotel lobby than a home. I think you could make it more homey but, it would still be daunting living in it.
Oh my gosh Julie, this was so incredible to get to tour these apartments with you. I can’t wait to see the next two! Thank you so much for this experience.❤️
Definitely the 2nd one! Loved it! I love hearing the Duomo bells!!! My husband and I were in Florence in '13 on a cruise and just loved it! We found a little fountain with ducks chasing each other and we just really enjoyed it! I had a cappuccino in town and we loved the Duomo! I can't watch your 2nd video tomorrow because we'll be flying to LA and will be cruising for 3weeks. Hugs to you all! Thank you for sharing!
Both apartments were lovely but my favorite was the second one. What won me over was the fact that you could hear the bells of the Duomo. I'd spend so much of my time on that balcony.
I’m holding my thought’s until I see the other two apartments! So far, this has been an amazing video. My favorite part so far, is the fact that you find the address on the street and open the large doors to magic! Such wonderful spaces that are so private for the life anyone would love to be able to live. Thanks for taking us with you. When you travel in Italy, or work on your house, I always feel I’m standing right next to you.
Both properties are incredible. The walled garden property so private, a dream for anyone loving privacy. The house has history everywhere you turn. The second property was modern with elegant frescos, works of art from a time gone by for those to enjoy in the space of their own home. I think living in the second would truly be an experience for those who want to be in the midst of the life around them. To enjoy art from the past and to live life in the beautiful city and it’s people who make what Italy is… Both properties are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Italy looks like a dream... (I never realized until recently seeing pictures online and Instagram!!) I actually like that the second apartment has some modern furnishings and modern kitchen features-- I tend to like modern furnishings & then you wouldn't feel like you are living in a museum! 🙂
Julie, thank you for the incredible tour with Chiara. Ahhhh the second one is irresistible…to be able to walk outside every day per un café and to greet the Duomo up close. Oh and yes, I’d spend my time staring at those gorgeous ceilings and paintings…who needs tv.
The first one hands down. The gardens, the history of the convent, I could go on and on. It feels like you can just get away from it all and just “be.” Exactly what you want when you arrive home. I am so happy that you are showing real estate options in Italy. Makes me want to move there even more!
Wow... both so beautiful in their own ways. For myself so far the one with the garden is so perfect. To have your own private, peaceful space to renew and relax.
Both are stunning. I think the 1st one was my favorite. The history and the peacefulness. I loved it. That view from the top of the tower was breathtaking. Thank you for showing us this
The convent and grounds would be my choice between these 2 options. The medieval tower and walls are remarkable and the potential is endless within this garden. Absolutely lovely.
I loved both, but I love the second near the Duomo more. It is in the heart of Florence near to everything but so beautiful and tranquil. History and presence at the same time and hearing the bells of the Duomo. It is win for me ❤️👍❤️
Hi Julie- Thanks for taking us along. The first home with the Gardens outstanding, not to mention the lovely interior. Looking forward to your next video .
Oh my Gosh. That first one I fell in love with it. It has everything I had ever dreamed of growing up as a child born in Germany and seeing all the castles and historical houses, churches, and land that is tailored to perfection. I voted but I think I put the wrong one in, I just couldn’t wait until the second show. I’m so sorry. But I just felt my heart skip a beat when I saw the garden. I am late to see this but will never forget the Buontalenti. I don’t know Italian. Be safe
Oh my gosh, so spectacular, I thing everyone wants to be in your shoes right now, just to look at these properties is like a dream, thank you for sharing. I do love the first one because of the garden and the history that there was a church and prayers going on long ago and it's a blessed property.
Can I choose both? lol! I am with you they are both marvelous but which do you prefer? I am in love with history and painting OMG! The fresco's is like walking into a museum. I think I prefer the first one. San Niccolo` Apartment. It is the best of both worlds!!! Thank you Julie, your videos are so much fun to watch!!!
Buongiorno Julie such a lovely surprise to awake to viewing palaces in Florence I’m lost for words my desire to go there has peaked the first palazzo just Amore the gardens heaven on earth huge rooms love love 😍👌👌The second is so luxurious the sound of the bells I’m in love with Italy grazie mille can’t wait for the next viewing no more dreaming and wishing Amore 💖💖😘😘👌👌🌟🌟
Hi Julie, Oh my gosh so SO BEAUTIFUL NO.11 WITH the private gardens...A magical property..I want to Be a nun...and live in that Convent...May I become A nun...WOW.great library. And the studio apt on the Grounds, just stunning.. I am drooling onto my cell.. And The church 🔔... I want to move back to Italia...ty Chio bella, yall took my Breath away..
So hard to pick between the first 2.....But #1 was sooo relaxing to view. The garden - the Tower with the fantastic view. Stunning and very welcoming:)
No doubt those are fabulous homes, more than apartments. I spent my freshman and sophomore years in Florence, Firenze. It actually does take about two years to really see Florence. There are a million streets and many places to purchase. Thanks for taking me along.
Hi Julie, what beautiful apartments, they both have something to offer to different people. Looking forward to your next video. I have been looking at home in Italy for a year now. I have also looked at Ferrazzano, words can't describe the two apartments. "Bellissimo" amore da N.Y.
Wow, amazing homes! That view of the Duomo...stunning! So much to see in Florence and Italy, in general!! DW and I like #2 more. Thanks for the video!!
I am finally able to watch the American viscountess and Mapperton videos today! I’ve never been this far behind before! I just love this video! Thank you so much for giving us these wonderful tours! I really appreciate the historical and cultural context as well. I share your appreciation for history and I’m always grateful that you include so much in all your videos. Now onto the next video. Love from Vermont
Love both of them for different reasons. If I had the choice, I would like the first one because of the garden and tower with a view. Such a fun vlog. Thanks for taking us along 😍😹
Julie, after seeing both videos and getting the chance to walk through all of them with you via video, I would have to vote for San Niccolò. I can not get over just how beautiful it is. I like the history tied to it also. I could feel the warmth in the home. It would be perfect for so many people. Having a garden like that is like having a whole separate home. Oh, it also has extra quarters which is just lovely and quaint. I know each one of the properties is a little different and offers some different benefits, like the one in the city center, but my choice would be San Niccolo! See you in the next video.
Beautifully done video...I've got to go with the 2nd apartment. Florence is a fairy tale city. I absolutely loved visiting there. Julie I love your energy and style. Keep making videos. Such fun!!!
This is a lovely way to take us along on your Italian adventures 𝑎𝑛𝑑, It is so appreciated! I’m going to wait until I’ve seen the other 2 properties before making a decision. I’ve only ever seen Rome and Venice, so Florence is new for me. Of course, all of us who love 💕 history have heard of the Medici’s. But, my knowledge of Italian History doesn’t compare to my historical Knowledge of the different eras of English, Great Britain 🇬🇧 and The UK. I’m always excited to learn something more and different ❤️ Thank you, Julie for inviting me along ❤️❤️🥰
Wow Julie! Both properties are exceptional. But without a doubt, San Nicholló, with the Chapel apartment and extraordinary walled garden is so unique. The Medici / Buontaletti Pallazzo is phenomenal, and would be so convenient for entertaining, but the garden property is and has been historically a sanctuary. Hard to beat that garden's green energy and location.
Wow!! As an American I think it’s laughable to call those places apartments! I think the term palace is probably more appropriate! I would definitely choose number one because of all the gardens surrounding the place. Thanks Julie! This is a lot of fun to see. Love from Mary in Southern California💗
The first one was beyond words and like being in a fairy tale land. You even have a tower for Rapunzel. The second one was lovely, but too museum like for my taste and the outdoor space did not even compare with the first one. Very excited to see whats to come next.
Amazing amazing amazing ! Thank you for filling my heart and mind with Italy … Italy is back on my radar and I’m seeing signs everywhere The universe is nudging me to take that trip to italy 😁
You know how when you go to a place you have never been, but you feel like you are home? That is how I felt when I went to Florence. It was in 1989. That's the only time I've been
Hei Julie!! Also being a big fan of everything Italian, this was a mindblowing tour. Far from my world. I love it all and cant wait for the next two properties. Thank you very much for making this content.
The first one I could picture living in. It's like I could actually feel what it would be like to walk through the garden into the lovely, opulent apartment. The second one was beautiful but it didn't seem like a place to live in, more like a museum. So far #1 for me!
Julie! I'm loving this new video style. A super refresh. Great job by the AV team! I've only watched half while taking a break for lunch. i need to check out the second property. 🙂
Truly stunning apartments!! It's fun to live vicariously, because there's most likely no way that I'll ever be able to afford one of those apartments. I love the gardens and library in the first place 😍.
Love your shows. So fond of Florence. I loved your tours! I'm voting #1 on the webpage. You might list them for people to check off on the entry form. I had to go back and look at how to spell the apartments before I entered.
The apartments are just amazing. I especially liked the second one because it combined the old with the new. The front door was amazing on the second one and the ceiling in the kitchen was unbelievable. It was so nice how she left you alone to just appreciate the space. It would be so hard for me to leave. I think they would have to drag me out.😂
😁😂🤣I remember those gigantic knockers on the doors in Florence & the Medicis Balls were everywhere!!!😆😂🤣 Incredibly beautiful city!!! Loved it all!!!😘❤
Knockers and balls huh?
Both apartments took my breath away . However the second apartment, near the Duomo so far , is the one of me .. stunning .
The frescos are a beauty! And love the gardens!
Yes, they are all beautiful historic houses but your small home you remodeled in Italy is still my favorite.
I agree. If you keep it simple you really have time to get out and do things. Tuscany is so magical.

Beautiful! I love the first one the most. That garden is a dream.
OMG, loved the both but #2 is my favorite due to the connection to Katherine DeMedici as a very great grandmother.
The 1st was my favorite. It felt homey and the gardens. The 2nd was beautiful but felt more like a museum.
Julie, I'm in awe with these properties! My dream is to live in Florence 🥰
Both apartments were lovely but my favorite was the second one. What won me over was the fact that you could hear the bells of the Duomo. I'd spend so much of my time on that balcony.

Wow! It was nice to see that both apartments had libraries. That brick passageway was incredible.
Wow, amazing homes! That view of the Duomo...stunning! So much to see in Florence and Italy, in general!! DW and I like #2 more. Thanks for the video!!
I look forward to seeing the next two properties. I have my preference from today's viewings, but will decide after the next two. Thanks!
Sounds great!
I am finally able to watch the American viscountess and Mapperton videos today! I’ve never been this far behind before! I just love this video! Thank you so much for giving us these wonderful tours! OOOHHH La Bella Vita! Dreamer properties is an understatement. So so magical.
Wow Wow! How much fun was that?! Loved them both for different reasons. But the first one was just magical. The gardens are blissful.
It's wonderful that there are so many possibilities in life!! 🙂 Traveling and learning and art and history!
I’m always excited to learn something more and different ❤️
Thank you, Julie for inviting me along ❤️❤️🥰
If money were nothing, I think I would choose the first one. However, they are both beautiful. I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings.
Gorgeous can’t wait to see the next two.
These are both beautiful. Unfortunately I’m a small town girl living my dream in a rural area. I wouldn’t mind visiting Florence, but that’s it.
My goodness!!!! Unbelievable! So stunningly beautiful❤️
Thank you so much!!
Oh thank you!
Sto imparando l'italiano e faccio le valigie! Amore amore amore.
The first apartment has my vote! ❤️
The first one had beautiful gardens and so much space. So I have to go with 1
Amazing amazing amazing !
Thank you for filling my heart and mind with Italy …
Italy is back on my radar and I’m seeing signs everywhere
The universe is nudging me to take that trip to italy 😁
Of the two you shared today, the 2nd was incredible❣️
You know how when you go to a place you have never been, but you feel like you are home? That is how I felt when I went to Florence. It was in 1989. That's the only time I've been
Wow! So beautiful! This video is stoking the fire of my dream of moving to Florence!
Such a beautiful properties! The first one with the private garden and tower gets my vote!
The first apartment for sure! Beautiful.
Hei Julie!! Also being a big fan of everything Italian, this was a mindblowing tour. Far from my world. I love it all and cant wait for the next two properties. Thank you very much for making this content.
So glad!
No 1 My choice
No 2 exquisitely perfect
I loved the first one The garden is so serene
The first one I could picture living in. It's like I could actually feel what it would be like to walk through the garden into the lovely, opulent apartment. The second one was beautiful but it didn't seem like a place to live in, more like a museum. So far #1 for me!
Julie! I'm loving this new video style. A super refresh. Great job by the AV team! I've only watched half while taking a break for lunch. i need to check out the second property. 🙂
Yay! Thank you!
Definitely the first one. Apartment? Geez Oh Peez! One room is bigger than my house! I can’t even imagine.
I’ll take the second apartment, how wonderful!!!!
Both are wonderful, but the second one is my favorite.
Second apt.,perfect mix of old and new.
Thankyou thankyou for such a fascinating tour of 2 properties. Oh the garden was enchanting!
The apartments are just amazing. I especially liked the second one because it combined the old with the new. The front door was amazing on the second one and the ceiling in the kitchen was unbelievable. It was so nice how she left you alone to just appreciate the space. It would be so hard for me to leave. I think they would have to drag me out.😂
What a fun video!! Definitely going to be hard to decide. Thanks for bringing us along.
I love the gardens in the first property.
Love the first apartment ❤ Incredible, amazing & beautiful.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you! This is so much fun!
Both beautiful but I love her trousers.
Tremendously good quality video. I like the one with the huge garden.
This content quality is insane! I love your Italy/travel videos the most, by far. Much love Julie and fam from Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, USA. ❤️❤️
Thanks so much!!
Both properties are amazing! I still love your little Italian house though!
