But the thing is, Nepo did none of those, he put his king near Magnus's king but not in front of it, which also means resigning... so yeah, I was wrong, Magnus won cos Nepo resigned.

The white queen and white bishop can basically setup a checkmate regardless of how black moves. But even still, there's a possibility that a second white queen, white bishop and a white rook overpower the black queen and black rook, leaving black without pieces to defend the king.
