  • Does yelling and getting angry as a parent really help you in disciplining your children? Dr. Dobson doesn't think so. Watch this classic lesson on why action is more important than anger when it comes to a child's obedience. #ParentWell #FamilyTalk

Dr. Dobson was used by the Lord in my raising my 2 kiddos. I STILL talk about the way Focus and Dr. Dobson helped me! I am so grateful for his ministry.

When my son was 10yrs old I was given a copy of this book. As I started to read it I became concerned that I had not read it 10yrs ago. As I read further I realised that I had already used most of the measures he explained. This was due to my reading of the Bible, it had instilled in me the correct pathway. I was impressed when he explained that if you cannot control a child’s behaviour before it is two years auld then you have no chance of changing bad behaviour. You cannot change this. Only modify. My son is 46 now with 4 children 18,16,14,12. Two boys two girls . I never finished the book and took up reading GODS book of books.

Not always action never worked for. Me I had an abusive X partner who.brainwashed. My kids agaonst. Me. To do wrong and go wrong and hate me no amount of action on. My part or wanting my kids to do right thing worked there father's evil brainwashing was what had more power in end I'm still dealing with the effects years later thankfully there now beginning to see what happened

Sometimes with kiddos i think they can detect that mom, or dad is vowing at that point to take tougher action so they move it. 🤷‍♀️ I don't know not expert I just raised 9, & i have grandchildren, & now great children. Pretty much the same game just different lil faces but they all try you👌🏽

#superstraight, thank you Dr Dobson for ALWAYS supporting superstraight families. Even before woke superphobes began attacking our way of life systematically. End superphobia. Support the only gender that GOD BLESSED to produce life.

The child is ultimately responsible for his actions. When the parent takes action, it no longer is the child’s problem to solve - the parent becomes responsible.

Kinda dumb. The parent should have taken action earlier. Anger serves its purpose. Be angry and don't sin while your doing it.
