- I took my @Seadoo 26 Mies offshore out of Destin Florida for these fish!
On this episode I traveled to Destin FL to take my fishing jet ski ( SEA-DOO FISH PRO) offshore for red snapper, maki and anything else that will bite! offshore fishing from a jet ski in these waters can lead to some amazing bites!

Sailing on a jetski in rough seas with dolphins 30 miles offshore, almost run out of gas, then gut your fish nuggets in the motel parking lot... 😂😂😂
You guys are the best 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
😂 😂 😂
If the fish finder issue is what most other fish pros suffer from. Your sounder has leaked all its liquid out. Ive heard a pretty solid solution is to replace the fluid with ultra sound gel. The thicker consistency doesnt let it leak out and its still designed to work with sonar style systems like the fish finder.
That’s exactly what it is, I’m going to look into that thanks for the suggestion!!
You guys are crazy that water is so rough.
Hey buddy how you doing man? Man i am so glad that you guys was safe out there man. & being 26 miles from land with very lil gas too ! I was scared that you wasn't going to make it back. Brother I have a question? How was your trip to & from Destin FL & how long was your drive ? Brother I $200. Is a lot better than paying $500. A night man at this time of season. I would rather have the dolphins with me then the sharks. I know it's a pain in the butt But dolphins do not try to attack you or bother you While you're on the water. The wave in the video at 10:19 & 10:29 was something else man. I love it when you Record your traveling. I am just glad that you all made it back safe & sounds. Thanks you for sharing this video buddy & be safe out there on the water man.
Hey man I loved this travel series despite the weather conditions! You've inspired me to go and get a fish pro trophy and do the same type of fishing you do. I'm moving to Fairhope/Daphne or Gulf Shores in a few months and going to make this my main hobby! Have you found any groups by chance of folks like yourself that have PWCs that are game to schedule and setup trips together for safety? I'll obviously have all the safety equipment bought and don't mind ever beading 20+ miles out as long as I have a buddy to roll with and weather allows it! Great video once again man!
Thanks brother!!
You a brave man to go out 26 miles in a jet ski!!!
I make sure I’ve got all the safety items covered lol
29 miles for me this past Saturday out of Pensacola on a jet ski.
@@rickss69 Wow, what a ride!!!
Guys regularly ride 65 miles from florida to the bahamas on jet skis, absolutely no problem in riding jet skis this distance. These fishing jetskis has enough cargo capacity to make these longer journeys a breeze.
Not cool !
Dolphins not cool. Especially if they steal your catch.
I fish out of Destin a few days a week. Let me know when you go out of Destin again.
Do you fish of a ski also? Message me on Facebook and we will set it up
@@southernsalt FP Sport 👍🏻
LOL you got raided by dolphins, yeah i hear ya
I just went fishing for snapper yesterday and we got 8
You should have let that teeny tinny little baby tuna go
When you’re fishing, not cool.
Screaming at the weather/water like Lt Dan while cranking Candlebox? No need to hit the gym today boys!
😂 😂 🙌
I like your videos. Learn something every time. I was looking into these skis but was out of my what appeared to be a very extensive tear down after every salt trip. How do you clean after the salt?
I just rinse it down and flush it. Nothing to it
That’s the type of fishing that’s over here in the panhandle, it’s tuff to be honest. What do you think about our area compared to the area you fish? A lot more active in my opinion
In Alabama we have to go further to get to good reefs but I do feel that reefs have significantly less pressure than this part of Florida
Interesting to see how the dolphins 🐬 follow you guys. They would be very aggravating to me. Great job 👏🏿 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Yeah brother they drive us insane out here 😂
Next time try Mexico beach good B an B,s an good fishing
🙌
Just purchased hay maker and white minnow of death from sea to swamp outfitters
Nice!!
The dolphin problem is from all the dolphin tours that feed them off Destin and Panama City Beach. We don’t have that problem to the east. We just have shark problems.
I gotta say I'm disappointed you didn't use "ol snap dilly wompus' at all in this video.
lol man I’m disappointed in myself 😂
NOT COOL
That damn thing would kill my back
It can be bad on the back for sure
What ramp did y’all use? Same thing I want to do. Stay somewhere out if the crowd and find a decent boat ramp close to crab island.
Destin Marina ramp.
It’s a $30 launch fee just a fyi
What hotel did yall stay at that allowed boat trailers?
its cool and not cool and annoying
🤔
Prefer dolphin over sharks!!😁
Weathers been ass this year brotha
No doubt lol
Enjoyed the 🎣video hang in there Nate
Blackened aj is my fav but couldn’t get down last month. Gonna target redfish at st Andrew’s in a few weeks
Nice! Good luck down there!
I HAD THEM DOLPHINS DO THE SAME TO ME AT DAUPHIN ISLAND! IT WOULD BE AHEAD OF ME STIRRING UP THE WATER SEARCHING FOR FOOD.
NATE, WHAT GPS/FISHFINDER WOULD YOU GO WITH RIGHT NOW?
I run the Lowrance elite FS on my kayak and love it
The Dolphins were nice to see, but definitely ends fishing in the area. Great video, Nate! Keep the Lines Tight!
Thanks brother and couldn’t agree more!
Had a guy tell me they used a air horn like u carry on a boat an stick in the water an blow it underwater an those dolphins can't stand the noise an will leave.
Really, never heard that one before might try it lol
Dolphins are cool when you're not fishing, and the weather man is the only job you can have and be wrong 50% of the time and still have a job, and this has been terrible for weather, I just want to go enjoy a day on the kayak without fighting the wind and waves
No doubt it has been a brutal year
@southernsalt well hopefully it will get better soon,
5:20 The dolphins follow the charter boats too. 😂 Not cool. 😢
Yes sir they do lol
Great content! You need a spare fuel can for emergency attached to the cooler rig. You also mentioned no regulations on the mahi but maybe it’s different here in north east Florida…. 5 daily limit 30 boat limit. 20 inch minimum to the fork. Your mahi 👀
Actually you mentioned Destin. So you have no minimum!
@@Redtale1106Alabama and Florida have no regulations on size or creel limit for Mahi.
@@geoffreymcbenge4791 in Atlantic FL waters of Florida they do. State and federal. It’s just different in the gulf of Florida vs Atlantic
Nice fishing trip! Good times!
Thank you!
Hey Brother, you're in my neighborhood. 😊
Beautiful down here! One of my favorite places
@@southernsalt pardon our jet noise. LOL
Love these videos
🙌
I absolutely despise Dolphin. Those little guys though don't mess up your fishing like the giants we deal with in Pensacola. Between the sharks and those Dolphin it really makes it tough. Usually those small Dolphin are on the move. I thought Destin had tons of artificial reefs just a mile offshore. Kind of surprised you went so far off shore especially in those conditions.
Not cool?
It’s amazing…how could you be so tuned into what you wanted to experience…to not be in awe of such a blessing👀🤷🏼♂️😥
We get to fish all the time…how often do you get to hang out with a massive school of dolphin all around you and interacting with your boat?
Missed opportunity and some reflection needed I think 🤔
Um we see dolphins every time we go out and they always interact with us it’s not a rare occurrence. I said it was kind of cool but it’s also aggravating to run 23 plus miles to have dolphins stealing fish lol
I really believe you should check your regulations dolphins has a bag limit and a size limit. They have to be over 20 inches FYI.
You should really check your regulations. I clearly stated that I was in Destin Fl.
@@southernsalt all I’m saying is that in Florida the Dolphins are 20 inches to the fork and five per person or 30 per vessel. Don’t want you getting into any trouble over an undersize fish.
I’m not on the east coast I’m on the gulf coast
Here in California, we have way too many seals 🦭. I hate seals 🦭 😮
I bet!
My granddaughter would say you were the coolest dude in town. Look papa, look at all of HIS dolphin. Me, not so much.
