  • Kawasaki is about to join the booming Jet Ski fishing market with a new model called the Angler.
    It is based on the latest Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S but has a unique colour scheme and is ready to go fishing - as a turn-key solution and a complete package - straight off the showroom floor.
    Unique features include a cooler box, five fishing rod holders, stabiliser pods on either side of the craft, a flat seat so you can easily switch from side to side when fishing, and a Garmin navigation unit and fish finder.
    The Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler is due in showrooms in late 2024 or early 2025 but Kawasaki has released information ahead of time so buyers can find out more details.
    The Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler is intended to be a rival to the hugely popular Sea-Doo Fish Pro series and the Yamaha FX HO JetFish edition, and represents a renewed effort from Kawasaki to reclaim market share in the highly competitive personal watercraft segment.

      We are too! The 2025 Kawasaki Ultra 160 Angler should be in showrooms by the end of this year or early next year.

    When are they in Australia

      At this stage exact arrival timing has not been announced by Kawasaki Australia. However most new Model Year craft are due to arrive late this year or early next year. So late 2024 or early 2025 is our best guide at this stage.

    The Rear seat should be removable. Rear stand/Foot space or more gear

      Thanks for your feedback. Noted. We're sure Kawasaki (and Sea-Doo and Yamaha) is watching this growing segment of the Jet Ski market closely.

    Expect it to be priced as high as the market can stand...Kawasaki does not care about sales numbers.

      Thanks for the note. We are just glad Kawasaki is back in the game. Here’s hoping the price will be competitive. No doubt it will keep Sea-Doo and Yamaha WaveRunner on their toes. The fishing Jet Ski market isn’t exclusive to Sea-Doo any more.

      @@WatercraftZone You can count Yamaha out lol. Nothing they offer is ideal for fishing and likely never will be knowing Yamaha. I can say that because I use a 2018 FX Cruiser HO for offshore fishing.

    Can you purchase the floatation pods that come standard on Kawasaki fishing pwc ? Can you order these to fit on the other Kawasaki models

    • @WatercraftZone
      @WatercraftZone  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. It’s not clear at this stage whether Kawasaki will make those parts available as accessories for other Ultra owners. However, at some point, we expect the pods will be added to the spare parts list so owners of the Angler can replace damaged parts. Perhaps that is the way to get them. The parts list for this model is yet to be released to the best of our knowledge. Be sure to check with your Kawasaki Jet Ski dealer. Thanks again for the note.
