Flasher Relay is an EP29 Electronic Flasher
Hyperflash: Usually happens to vehicles when you have a light bulb out in your front or rear turn signals. This causes the side of the vehicle that the bulb is out on to flash rapidly and faster than normal. This happens also when you retrofit LED lights onto your vehicle, the stock halogen flasher cannot handle the load, so a new electronic, or heavy duty flasher is needed. Most all auto part stores carry the flasher you need.

Where did you get your motor and supercharger I'm blowing smoke out my 5.7 and rebuilding seems unreasonable rn

So I got the fuse but one side is yellow and the other is the led light how do I fix that ?
They are suppose to stay led for daytime running and when I turn the turn signal on switch to the yellow
Alec Shaddox you might be one of the lucky few who need load equalizers on your lights. They did that to me before I installed the new HD Flasher, but didn't need equalizers.

Hey I know this was posted a long time ago, but I have the exact same headlights you have, but I only have hyperflash on my driver side, my passenger side blinks normal, could have I just connected something wrong or would I need that flasher relay?
Definitely would try the flasher relay, that might solve any of your issues.
I just attempted to put on switchback signals on my 98, start with one side to see if it would work and I got hyper flashing, so I took out and put back stock halogen bulbs and I’m still hyper flashing on the one side I tried the led switchbacks, im not sure what to do to fix this, have any clue what it could be / for me to do?

Question. My leds are not hyper flashing because I did the same thing with an led flasher relay and they work amazing. My question is, the only issue I'm having right now is the turn signal lights on the cluster itself are both illuminated when I turn the parking/headlights on but only then they flash fine but I was wondering why that would be happening??
Mine did that once too, turns out the relay was kinda junk and didn't work properly.

Yup. I went full LED running/turn lights. Different rear styling though. I even upgraded to super bright LED reverse lights when I had them out. They are head light bright and come with a warning to to run them too long in plastic housings. All my LED turn l lights came with a resistor plugged in. I removed those and dis what you did. Electronic flasher relay. I found out the hard way that turn lights and reverse lights are on the same fuse. Replaced with same amperage fuse, all good. It was my mistake that it popped. Love LED lights on my OBS Suburban.

I wanna get some of those parking/ marker lights it woulda been pretty bad ass if they were sequential since it’s kind of a LED bar I love the 2016 Silverado front end so what I wanna do with my c/k put head lights that has a DRL LED bar clear corner light /reflector and run those parking lights and then tint the parking light and lower corner light Amber I think it’ll look Im think it’s gonna how yours looks when you have you lights on except it’ll look like that with the light off aswell
I just installed a couple LEDs for the front signals of my 95 silverado. Only did that to clear the end tanks of the intercooler, I could not reinstall the oem lights. (Cummins swap with dodge intercooler). I had the fast flash until I swapped out the flashers. However, I still have another problem. Both turn indicators in the dash light up and stay on when the park lights/headlights are on. I swapped both flashers too, the turn one up under the dash by the ashtray, and the hazard one in the fuse/relay box. No effect. So LEDs are definitely not plug and play, they only are if they load the circuits enough to work like factory.
It might change depending on what year you have, but mine were 100% plug and play.
Rorik Olson Try switching which plugs the LED's are connected into. Even though I plugged mine in the way the factory plugs where originally positioned the LED's only worked when I reversed the "bulbs" on the Driver Side LED. Had the same dash indicator problem you had and had given up but figured I'd try again and figured this out by chance. Maybe it's the same problem you're having.
Where can I find clear corner lights like that in the front not in amber? I’ve looked everywhere online and all I can find them for is 88-93 and 94-98 GMC grilles. Wanting OEM looking clear fronts to match my clear taillights.

Hey man, I'm trying to see if you have the same leds light as I do. You mentioned the ballast for power...I have that too. Bit I see no way of how to get power to the leds. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Can you explain that please?
Didn't work on my 98 c1500. Same relay and tried resistors. No difference. Flickering only happens at start up from time to time and I just cycle from high to low and it stops flickering. I am currently looking for a better option to pass inspection.
Hey is there anything special needed to get the new hids to lock into place into the housing? Mine won't lock into place and I'm worried if I apply to much force something with break
I have a 98 suburban and I had the same problem after I installed my LEDs. I bought a new flasher and now when I turn on one of my signals, both lights go on at the same time, as in the corner and parking light. They do not alternate back and forth like it is supposed to. The LED parking light isn't as bright when the signals are on, but when I turn them on they are bright. Would I need a load resistor for each socket? or is there more to this. ( I have an LED bulb in my corner lights, but not my tail lights. I previously had LED tail lights and they worked fine)
got the same turning signal/Bumper lights. they didn't come with instructions on how to hook up . are they just hook up and go or what? I notice 2 black boxes with adhesive tape on the back that are connected to the light it's self with red and black wire .
Question I have is with the new flasher relay does the front side marker operate as normal assuming it has a led 194 bulb in it also reason I asked is a friend of mines has same setup up but his side marker does not flash and turns off when signal is on only with parking lamps on though. With them off it flashes as should with signals but now he dissent have the ep29 flasher either I think his are spyder brand

Would this be needed if I only installed an LED 3rd brake light? The braking part(red light) works but the cargo dont now after the install from the stocker.

I am very close to purchasing them for my truck and would like to know what HID kit to purchase along with them. oh and did the headlight come with a bulb?
Hey I was curious if you knew what the problem was if all lights were flashing when you hit the signal but wouldn't flash when lights are on... I have had this problem since I installed my plug n plays even with the new relay.

+Matt Thorborg it's been a long time since I've had these lights. Only thing I can think of is getting an electronic flasher module, EP29, and adding some load equalizers.
In this video it looks like your front parking / turn signals are all LED's instead of replacement bulbs. If that is what I am seeing, did you get them on line? If so what is it called so I can see if I can find some for my '98 GMC truck. Thanks

I bought some of those signal lights and installed them but when i turn on the lights they turn on but when i use the blinker they don't blink but the rear hyperflash, would i still need the hd flasher to make them blink?
Yes, with these you will still need the EP29 flasher to correct any overload that the LEDs are giving your truck.
I have a question, I bought the same blinkers as you just they are black, they dont hyper flash when I turn the blinkers on, but when the headlights are on the blinkers hyper flash. I need some help!

Yeah, if all else fails, you might need resistors. I didn't need them, but a lot of people do.
I have the same parking light the only thing wrong with them is one side is brighter then the other? Any ideas why?

Check for a loose or bad ground in the wire harness.
i;ve been ordering 1157 LED light bulbs for my 98 Z71 and i keep getting ones that work on brake and turn signal, but no taillights. Has anyone got a suggestion about that?
Ive have the same headlights on my 89 silverado c1500 but i cant get the halos to work correctly . when i use my driver side turn signal it blinks the halos too. have seeing this video im thinking its because i never replaced the flasher to a electronic flasher. also noticed once i disconnected the halos the flasher blinks fast on the passenger side and real slow on the driver side. i should mention that i have LED tail lights, dont know if this would matter.
Thanks for the 411, I do have a diff question, for the head light bulbs what do you recomend because I installed some led head light bulbs and they only lasted like 4 months. I do have day time running lights running all time. The lights were like 80 dollars is there a brand that will last and how do I turn off my day time running lights? Btw sweet truck 👍🏼
Usually there is a fuse you can pull for those lights. I would recommend Morimoto or profile for lights

I'm looking to add these the same projector headlights on my 93 K1500 but every where I look they said they are made for 94 and up. I have the stock head lights and the mounts look very similar. Do you think they would fit on a 93? or what would be the reason why they wouldn't and is it fixable. Thanks
as long as you have the same setup I have then it would be no problem. The only thing I could see is if you had the dual sealed beam lights instead of the one piece single like mine

If you are talking about the Electronic/HD Flasher, you can get them at your auto parts store. It is just an EP29 flasher.

How do you wire them got mine in yesterday and it's got me scratching my head. There are 2 pigtails one from the headlight itself and one from the ballast or resistor whichever it is now does one pigtail connect to the stock left light bulb harness and the resistor connects to the right light bulb harness or what pllllleeeaaassseeee heeeelllppp
You don't have to wire anything, they just plug right in.

Great video! I have a set of LED parking lights with only one plug I'm trying to install on my 95 sierra. They work, but I get hyperflash because of the one bulb not being in the socket. When I do put a bulb in it works as it should. Would the relay trick work in my case? Or is there something more I need to do?
ok... So I just Installed my LED Anzo Parking Lights and as I installed them one at a time I would check to see if they would work or get hyper flash. and It worked fine after the first one, but once I installed the second one they started flashing like as if my Hazard lights were on. I'm assumed this was one of the hyper flashes you would see.. So I went to O'rielys and got me an EP29 Heavy duty Electronic Flasher and I'm still getting the same results.. would I need to have my Tail lights and headlights HID or LEDS too to work properly?
+Jc Galvan they should work just fine with they EP29 electronic flasher as these lights already have load equalizer ballasts built into them. Make sure you have the flasher installed right as well as the plugs on the lights installed correctly.
Nice LEDs I have the same in black best purchase ever but this is more about your headlights than your LEDs my question is that Halo on there I can't get mine to come on and I attached it to the blue wire in the headlight harness like I was supposed to but it still doesn't come on with the parking lights there were three blue wires down there and I tried it on all of them it still doesn't work did you attach yours to the regular headlights so it comes on with them?
The wire for the Halos needs to be spliced into the parking light wires, I used the corner 194 bulb wire to splice it into. That way the halos come on with both the park lights and the headlights.

That body style silverado is nicer then todays silverados the new ones look cheap looking
I'm a fan of LED lights in general, but a lot of the LED taillights are just too bright! If you're stopped behind one and its brake lights are on... God help your eyes. If they were only slightly brighter than incandescents, great! Less power, faster response, good looks, etc.

Now on your video let me add this I have just the regular headlights on my 93 truck with LED bulbs it looks good much better now but on the wife’s new car I just bought her it has projector headlights like your truck well I have LED bulbs in it and I’m not happy with it so I found the video I’m going to post and I see why I’m not happy with the LED bulbs so on my low beam I’m going with HID bulbs.
