Hi Anthony, I just read your comment and I also just watched this video. Eric seems very comfortable with himself. I am really surprised that they asked such point blank questions but I am sure everyone is very curious and interested in the details of his life as I am. Eric's wife is amazing standing by his side through his transitions. Please tell Eric that we all love him and that he is an incredible person and actor and we all admire his wife.
I usually don't like actors as a group.I like artists and writers .But Eric Roberts is a unique guy and a man of great humanity.I guess his experiences have helped to forge his character.God bless him and God help us all ,as life can be hard.

If you watch the interview, I think you'll see there's a whole lot more to it than just the part about his addiction... This is an interview with his wife and it was a major part of his life, but certainly not the only thing. The addiction is only a portion of the interview. :)
I didn’t like marijuana at in my teens, I didn’t like cocaine in my 20s either. But, there are many other ways to become an addict.
I appreciate these videos.

He is such an incredibly talented actor. I absolutely love him. I watched him pretty”out of it” running around Los Felize one night. It was very concerning. He seemed so lost and yet still so very kind to everyone he interacted with. None of us in the restaurant he kept coming into knew what to do to help him. I am truly grateful he was able to address the disease. what a blessing to us all. May he have many more years of health, happiness and prosperity.

I’m learning that people that do drugs do not love themselves. Richard Pryor, John Belushi, Freddie Prinze, Chris Farley, Bobby Brown did not love themselves. They destroyed themselves. Some are able to come out of it and others don’t. Glad i don’t have an addictive personality.

I was an extra in a TV series he was in. It was over ten years ago in Albuquerque. I remember between scenes, they would almost carry him out by the shoulders, as if he could not walk without help. I don’t know if he had a bad back or what, but that’s what I remember.
