Probably not that long. Basically just figuring out what clip you want to transition from player to player, like that Lebron to Magic transition is a pretty good match cut, and finding clean audio would probably be the extent of the hard work for a video like this. But really you just need to find some nice highlight clips. If it was me I'd start with picking what audio VO soundbites I would want to use, which would give me the amount of screen time to work with for clips for each player, and then just see what the best highlights I have to work with would be and work them around until it feels right and also make sure the transitions from player to player aren't too jarring and that audio transitions well enough. Probably wouldn't take too long. I bet finding all the highlights would probably take a big chunk of the overall time in that, but after that it isn't too demanding of a video. The structure of it would conveniently make a lot of the choices for you so the actual editing time shouldn't be too long.

It must have taken so so long to edit this. So many audio and video clips mashed into one. Well done NBA
Probably not that long. Basically just figuring out what clip you want to transition from player to player, like that Lebron to Magic transition is a pretty good match cut, and finding clean audio would probably be the extent of the hard work for a video like this. But really you just need to find some nice highlight clips. If it was me I'd start with picking what audio VO soundbites I would want to use, which would give me the amount of screen time to work with for clips for each player, and then just see what the best highlights I have to work with would be and work them around until it feels right and also make sure the transitions from player to player aren't too jarring and that audio transitions well enough. Probably wouldn't take too long. I bet finding all the highlights would probably take a big chunk of the overall time in that, but after that it isn't too demanding of a video. The structure of it would conveniently make a lot of the choices for you so the actual editing time shouldn't be too long.
