Hardin Westbrook and Carmelo do not belong on this list, They are just stat stuffers not winning players. In fact, none of them have won anything. This historic list is characterized by winners. I get that they needed more current players on the list, but the fact is today's NBA is a poor product. It's a sports league in long term decline. The guaranteed contract killed NBA. It led to soft clowns like Hardin. They are an insult to teh greatness of these older guys.

My take for the GOAT debate:
The GOAT debate should be structured in a way that its not a one dimensional approach, completely disregarding the facts that players are not even in the same position, playing the same role, and played on a different era of basketball. Championship should also not be the main backbone of the argument, instead, acts as an enhancement to what the player already achieve on his own. Winning the ring is a team effort, not an individual greatness.
With that being said, my GOAT lists is this:
Point Guard: Stephen Curry (Magic Johnson as my 2nd pick)
    Shooting Guard: Michael Jordan
    Small Forward: LeBron James
    Power Forward: Tim Duncan
Center: Shaquille O'Neal (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as my 2nd pick)
