To this day, pretty much all of them are just arena battle games. I'd love to see more strategic mobile suit operation simulation stuff like this. Bonus point if you can modify your suit like that breaker game, and or able to pick sides.
It's gunda. Target in sight for ps3 you can get any mobile suit you want can chose your side and guess what the Zions mission are hard and the federatio are easy but who cares pick the side you want
Whenever I'm in my zeon ms's with my Midnight Fenrir emblem this song plays. "Our soldiers were pitted against a formidable enemy, each came from a different background, each fought for a different personal reason and many lost their lives. The principality of Zeon was defeated however as long as there are comrades who continue to fight for their beliefs kindled by their love for those on the homefront our own battle will likely never end!"
Wicked Helku Gameplay I’m with you there. I have the midnight fenrir logo on all of my mobile suits, even my federation Mobile suits and pilot uniform.
Shit man 20 years later this game is still one of the best. Till this day I always thought that scene at 3:09 looks so realistic. Thanks for posting this!!
Bandai: just make a simple introductory cinematic, without so many details for the models or use the game models The Zeonic Front development team without fear of success:
Still bothered how similar this INTRO to th-cam.com/video/SvUcz6c8zag/w-d-xo.html (Front Mission 3) in music and to th-cam.com/video/5pH08Nb8AkA/w-d-xo.html (Front Mission) in the plot.
Probably the best intro of any gundam game. They did such an incredible job making it look all believable in terms of how everything looks and moves.
Right?! Till this day the scene at 3:09 looks so real!
I still have my ps2 so I can play this wonderful game.
Such a powerful cinematic. It really does make the player want to die for spacenoid independence!
Despite how difficult it can be for certain levels, it was a good game. Shame not more gundam games come out in the us these days
Especially with more military aspect to it

I didn't learn till today that this is where the song came from.
GBO2 looks like this intro, have they been using the same engine since 2001 lmao?
@@yoloman3607 If it works for Bethesda, why not Bamco. The Creation Engine is still technically the NetImmerse engine from 1997.
I remember when this cutscene seemed so incredibly beautiful to my 13 year old eyes when this game dropped. I was floored. God I miss those days.
uff this game is a cornerstone to my video game history, loved everthing about it. Hail Zeon.
This was by far my favorite ps2 game.
This game blew my mind when I was a kid.
Same
Still so freaking cool. The graphics of this intro still hold up really well.
That theme really gets the juices flowing
Mudrock is love. Mudrock is life
Mudrock is absolutely terrifying.
@@MisterTwelve Nah, blind his ass with chest blinder on a DOM and you've got him. Game over.
This game needs a remake
I agree!
I will never forget the first time I saw this back in the day when I rented this from Blockbuster.
The soundtrack is both heroic and terrifying
This game was fucking amazing growing up man i unlocked everything played the hell out of this game Char's red custom zeon was so fun.

This is the best gundam opening video ever, the game is so realistic,
I love the fact they use these animation in code fairy. I fanboyed when I saw it. Something I rarely do.
If I’m gonna be Honest. This is the most chilling opening in Gundam Video Games history.
MY CHILDHOOD!
Miss this game so much. Wish I could play it again 🥲
I remember playing this back when I a kid I a lot of go.
imagine being in the infantry in the mobile suit era

The Zeonic Front development team without fear of success:
the only intro I couldn't skip when I played this back then
HAIL ZEON!!!
Loved the intro. Had no idea how to play
this intro was and still is the definition of epic
79 up votes. Perfect.
Out of all the Gundam games I would have to say that this one has the best intro
i love it
They need to make an MSG VR game
Was that Zaku II at 2:39 wielding a EFF shield? If so, could that be Arth from Topp Team in the 08th MS Team series before it was repainted in brown?
You sure it wasn't some type of gouf shield.
This is no Zaku boy!!!! No Zaku!!!!
@@charaznable2859 No it's definitely a EFF shield, if you pause frame by frame you can see that it is indeed a EFF shield.
My nostalgic game
Need a remaster of this
Hail zeon
PS2で初めてやったゲーム
Zick Zeon !
SEIG ZEON!!!
3:11 is that gm ground type using a psg-1 sniper rifle?
Beam sniper rifle.
@@tomhuynh3867definitely based off the PSG-1
Awfully similar to Armored Core 3 Silent Line's intro, specifically the first part.
I like zaku more than Gundam.
