love watching your vids only just started making my own boilies could i make a 50/50 mix with semolina and corn flour and add my dye and flavours / i can make my own pop ups like yours today but never tried bottom baits thanks
My experience with corn flour is it makes stuff rock hard. I would stick to a with a proven Basemix to start with. This is less than £5 for a kg. aabaits.co.uk/product/fishmeal-base-mix/
What is preserve doing?it makes boilies doesn't mould? If yes,how much should I add for cca 100 grams of wafters, and cca 1 kg of bottom feeding boilies? And I have made my own mix and im not sure will it be able to make wafters with that mix
Would this work or do i need to change the ml of stuff and how much would 4 egg mix make thanks again - 4 eggs - 60ml of bait preserve - 15ml flavour - small amount of dye
You replace 1 egg per half kg but I would put 100ml in with 6 eggs so that’s like a 8 egg mix. Should make you 1.4kg. Need to dry them a bit more than freezer baits
@@alanedmunds2477 a large egg is approx 53ml so 6 eggs 312ml of egg. I don’t know the dry ingredients or other liquids or how long it’s going to be dried for so I would lean towards 25% preserve
@@BespokeBaits each to there own but the egg size doesnt matter if you stick to weight ratios. its a more consistent method all round and ensures you get exactly the same result every time. Ive rolled hundreds ok kilos using 20% liquid preserve and thats using British Aqua feeds, Feed Stim, Burton bait rollers (defunct) , CC moore and many more preserves with no issues at all. i actually have old pop ups in my shed over 3 years old with no mould using this percentage but as i said, each to there own. The simpler the better i reckon
Great video, keep them coming. Thanks you
Brilliant video lots of tips thanks

Yes if using large eggs use 60ml of preserve. Flavour is too high I work on 10ml for 8 eggs so use 5ml. Flavour can be bitter as they are chemicals
@@BespokeBaits Okay Thank you so much for your help your a life saver
Great video. One question, did you after making a mix cooked boilies, or you only make them dry?
They were boiled
If you wrote correctly, then you added 165 ml of Base, not 145! But thanks for the video, good one!
How much boille preserve needed to make 1kg shelf life?

@@BespokeBaits thanks a lot pal appreciate it, your videos are great
@@BespokeBaits thats way overcompilcating things. 20% liquid preserve to liquid egg mix is fine. e.g if liquid egg mix weighs 300gm add 60gm liquid preserve
