There is just something so peaceful about watching your process and your voice is soothing that the whole process is relaxing for me lol I never seem to be able to find time to journal because im so busy creating other things, your work is beautiful.

What a lovely album and a wonderful keepsake for your children!!! There are very few people who actually print their photos - they just sit in their phones! Just the other day my grand-kids came over and the 2 1/2 year old was looking at photos with his mother - pictures of his father in his earlier days as a baby, as a youngster, as a teen and mostly an album of just birthdays taken every year since he was born. His reaction was one of disbelief but he recognized his papy and his aunt!!! My daughter then found another album of pictures of my mom very young and surprisingly, he pointed to the picture and said mamie (which is what he calls me but I never saw a resemblance between my mom and me!!!) I guess he sees me different!!
That’s so sweet!! it makes me feel good knowing that my favourite pictures get printed and put into a book.. there’s something just so special about having a physical photo compared to just looking at it on a screen

Great layout ideas - this is a lovely way to put together a family/holiday photo album. It's easy to forget all those special moments when there's 1000s of pics up in the cloud - I will definitely use some of these suggestions for my next albums and get my fav pics printed off and made 'real' so I can stick them in and write about them whilst the memories are fresh. I watch them more than once, especially the one where you build a junk journal from scratch. I cheat and just use a 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper for a single signature book. I would like to make some journals with multiple signatures....maybe this year...lol. thank you, Johanna. ☺️😊

Yes, I am slowly working in Junk Journal January. I set my intentions this year to complete projects I start even if I give myself permission to move slowly.

I am a mostly quiet follower of your channel , I think you were one of the first ones that I followed. Everytime I look at your video’s I wanted to be much younger and wished I knew this way of journal making earlier in my life. So nice to keep such memory’s from your children all together amongs all the things of everyday life. I kept a lot of things from my children who are 26 and 28 years old now so maybe I can make once such a book but it wil take a lot of time next to everyday journaling. One question, do you print those photo’s directly from your phone yourself and if the answer is yes…on what sort of paper do you print? Beautiful journal…your family is precious …I have a question about how you glue them in. How do you keep that brush from getting damaged or rather solidified while you are deciding on what to put where. Is that just PVA glue?
That looks so lovely. I have a question, what do you generally use for glue. I find a glue stick frustrating because it just doesn’t hold well. I’d be interested to know what you use.

Yes PVA glue, you have to make sure to rinse your brush soon after using and rinse very well. I tend to use the same brush for gluing
