I love your journal with me videos. I learned a long time ago from you that if I find an old photo I can just sit and journal about it in my current journal and not everything has to be chronological. It is very freeing!
I totally agree that our loved ones particular style of writing is special to us! I must tell you about my daughter-in-law- She has a few tattoos, not covered or anything, but still some very unique tats! One of them on her inner arm is an exact copy of the closing of a letter that her grandmother sent her while she was deployed overseas that says "I love you more than fried okra" (we're southern US), to me it is so sweet and Kayla always has that precious memory of her now deceased grandma! Loved this episode Johanna, I'm 64 but your style really speaks to me!
That’s beautiful! My sister has a small tattoo on her inner arm from a note our mum wrote her, it says ‘darling x’ in her handwriting, I agree so special x
Beautiful pages of special times Johanna. It’s very important, and never too late, to write about and remember the past. I’m so glad you share and encourage this philosophy. Such wonderful keepsakes your journals will be for yourself and your family in the years ahead. Love the idea of using the vintage clear ‘magnetic’ coverings and must try this! I’m now regretting discarding mine after transferring some old photos from sticky paged to slip in pocket albums. The mini snowman is adorable! ❤
I always look forward to your journal with me vids. Your style is what has drawn me to the junk / scrap journalling world fiveish years ago. I especially enjoy how colorful yours are. Thanks so kuch for sharing ❤
I love your journal of family memories. I have a box filled with photos of my family. I should start creating a family journal, snd if I have doubles, I'll try to create a mini for a family member. Thank you for sharing your video 🤗
Thx so much for this great idea. I have lots of photo’s of my family members. Most of them are long gone. I can’t motivate myself to start making a picturebook. But your freestyle really helps to get started. It is so hard for me to look at all those photo’s and realize it’s all past tense. However my love ones deserve a for ever spot in a journal. So this is very helpful. Thx again!
I have yet to journal (except un my mind). But the way i want to do it is ... Categories . All my memories related to 'cars', music', 'food', 'pets' etc. Starting when I was very youg. I think thats the only way i can do it. You journal beautifully
Hi, firstly I love your videos, you have a beautiful style of journalling. Can I just ask, when you are making the larger albums, how do you create signatures from those papers. This album appears (at least on screen) to be nearer to an A4 size. I have tea dyed some A4 printer paper but other than folding it to create A5 pages, I am confused how to make a larger album with the papers......I hope this makes some kind of sense lol

Thank you so much for saying so! ♥️ sometimes i wonder if I’m still contributing content that people enjoy!

I find it so encouraging that you embrace your handwriting despite feeling it being messy :) Thank you :)

Thank you! Yes this make sense, for this book and most larger books I make, I use a3 paper ♥️♥️
@@JohannaClough oh my gosh,,,,,,lol I have no idea why that didn't occur to me 🤣🤣
@@colleenwarrender9141 haha that’s okay! Sometimes I like to buy a3 pads then you can easily find thicker gsm options in the larger size 🥰
