Oh how I remember going to garden tours when all my friends were still here. Now most have retired and moved away. But we loved these tours ... and the little towns with multiple gardens on the tour. I am in California, so one of our favorites was the Elizabeth Gamble tour, of the Proctor and Gamble family home and gardens and other gardens within walking distance. Vendors with lots of garden themed goodies and boxed lunches. Ah, good times, good friends.
The banana candy that I was thinking of is Laffy Taffy as I stated in the video. They have a banana flavored one that I remember form my childhood. I also know it’s a floibunda type rose but unsure exactly which ones
@@TheOrganizedHomemaker I didn’t hear you mention the Laffy Taffy..I depend on captions-sometimes they are off especially if there is background noise or just bad captions. They seemed pretty good in this video and I enjoyed it thank you for sharing!
My husband and I were there back in 2008. It was our 25th anniversary. We spent one night at the Callaway Gardens spa and hotel (that was all we could afford) and the remainder of our stay was in a cabin at FDR state park, where we spent our honeymoon. Lovely estate and gardens, sweet memories.
I remember Victory Garden on PBS filmed at Callaway Gardens. How gorgeous!
This is the same family that owned this house
Thank you for sharing this beautiful estate.
Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you for the lovely tour.
The White roses are floribuna ice berg roses.
The banana candy you were trying to think of is Runts bananas.

@@tinaknutsenI have never heard of the candy you mentioned but will look into it. I don’t love candy so it may take a while 😅
