2021 France is a good example for Bottas’ poor defence, but I think Verstappen’s overtake on bottas is a better showcase than Perez’s overtake. They were heading in to the same corner, but Bottas defended when verstappen was even further back, and he totally outbraked himself. This meant verstappen easily got past on exit, they didn’t even go side by side through the fast right hander. But he did something pretty similar with Perez like you showed, not as severe, which is arguably even worse because he didn’t learn his lesson at all.

Terrible defensive skills, atrocious tire management on some tracks, incredibly passive in dirty air,...
One lap pace means nothing, even in an era where track position is everything, many drivers can be quick over one lap, over his 10 wins with Mercedes, many are purely due to circumstances.

Why do you show clips that are so old but for other drivers you always show newer clips. What about his drive in Monza 2021? What about Brazil 2022? Why always show the bad stuff and make it look like he cant do anything, I genuinely have some bias against him taking some random clips from a long time ago. You can even look at last race and you would see that he had some great wheel to wheel racing. I would definently recommend having a look at some of his other moments , if you post so much negativity about him all the time, because it hat gotten to the point where you just show cherry picked all the clips of him not defending well.
