I wonder if some of these volunteers make their living firefighting in a major city that lies to the west of Plainview?

@@azul8811if you’re referring to FDNY, then probably not. FDNY requires their firefighters to live within one of the boroughs. These volunteers did great tho

@@mahcaebnivek2610 FDNY uniformed members (fire branch) are permitted to reside outside the 5 Boroughs in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Nassau or Suffolk Counties. A lot of guys that work in the 11th, 13th, 14th and 15th Divisions live out on the Island.

Not very engine placement should have pulled past the structure pull handlines off the rear and give the ladder company the front of the structure

You should call them up and tell them

Is it just me or did they have opposing handlines, not exactly the smartest move

First of all the placement of the truck was wrong they should have pulled past the scene. Second they need to learn how to take an inch and a half inch and 3/4 line off a truck that just peel it off put your hand through the loops and pull the whole damn bed out. This department definitely needs training and some of the worst firefighting I've ever seen

But Trucks don’t carry hoseline. Engines do.

You should go apply there and hire on so you can teach them
I'm sure they would hire an armchair hero like you in an instant and pay you 3x as much
