300+HP Abarth 595 Competizione at Monza Circuit! OnBoard, Fly Bys & Turbo Sounds

- First of all I have to thank the owner of this little pocket rocket, Il Gamby (follow him on TH-cam for more on board videos th-cam.com/channels/yrc.html..., for the magnificent opportunity and availability in making this video. His Abarth 595 Competizione has been heavily modified and tuned by Play Motor Seregno but it still keeps its original 1.4 turbocharged engine block to which pistons, injectors and other components have been changed. The car is now able to produce around 330hp with 1.9 bar of turbo pressure.
The audio of this video is a bit "hybrid", because I merged the helmet on board audio with the one recorded by a microphone I placed inside the engine bay. And sometimes I switched to the exhaust camera (still merged with the in-engine audio).

I can’t help but think of the Abarth 500 I fully tuned in GT6 that has nearly 300 hp. This is how it’d perform in real life.

Lordy that sounds awesome. I can only imagine how much fun that was. I once got to take a mate's race optioned (ceramic brakes etc.) 997 GT3 up a very windy mountain pass just south of Sydney - no traffic. We'd swapped cars - I had a beautiful 964 C4 at the time, worth a fraction of his car but we both had a blast, thankfully with no traffic. You can tell this guy has been around the block a few times, especially with the extended warm up of the tires. And that is one fun car to drive it looks like. The title is a bit misleading. It says 300+hp, then the description says 330whp, and after a couple minutes I was like damn...yeah, that thing has like 400 crank hp for sure.
