while not as cheap, jadavpur university is also one of the cheapest universities in India and not just for roti and daal but for a variety of food stuff. it is also one of the cheapest universities in general(registration fees, tuition fees etc) in India so there's that as well haha, very interesting to hear about isi from you would love if you could get people from other universities like igidr and talk about campus life there
True...I have heard about JU. Plus, ISI pays you to study...beat that...I am not aware about stipend system in JU...Correct me if I am wrong. ISI canteen also offers other items...of course I wouldn't say they are the best in taste. How is the mess or canteen at JU?

For 2019, the brochure mentioned that the student needs to have maths as a compulsory subject in class 12, while in 2022 they just asked the student to be a graduate, as an eligibility requirement for MSQE (nothing on maths). Therefore if I dont have maths in class 11 and 12, am I eligible for admission?
