I really like the way you put the values as one of the core aspects of a persons life. Its like a backbone you can build a fulfilling life around that.
on the point of creativity and art, reminds me of this quote: "You say ‘amateur’ as if it was a dirty word. ‘Amateur’ comes from the Latin word ‘amare’, which means to love. To do things for the love of it." and I think cultivating love in other aspects of our life is also a tool for establishing those values
question: what do i do if i feel scared of being in a relationship bc of my parents and grandparents? i feel like all ive seen is bad relationships and i dont feel like seeking marriage because of this
I’m wondering how this advice would apply to those of us who are still living with our parents and feel unhappy because of that? You said marriage won’t necessarily lead to happiness if we don’t find the happiness on our own first- but that seems really hard to do while living with parents because of their toxic energy. When I go on trips alone I feel happy. But living at home I don’t. So does what you said still apply to me that I won’t be happy if I get married?
The advice is to not expect your happiness to come from a partner and accidentally end up keeping the keys of your happiness and fulfillment in other people's hand.. now it seems like your parents have the keys and it would be easy to pass them into a partner instead of taking ownership yourself.. you need to figure out how.. you don't necessarily need to wait till figuring out everything before seeking a partner... But in the least you need to pay more attention to not look for a replacement or escape from your family in other people..
@@MiaIdrissou yes, true, one would need to be careful not to just settle for anyone just for the sake of leaving. I do like to take charge of my own happiness but it becomes hard not to be affected by parents energy when we’re living in the same household. Its bound to happen when in a toxic environment. I think what might be good for me is to move out to my own place before getting married. That way there is an in between. InshaAllah. Please keep me in your duas. Allah bless you.

Same!!!! Sometimes I wonder why people want to get married. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have a desire for it. But then I crave companionship
Youve to heal from your past trauma. And put tawakal in Allah. These worrying and concerns is somethings due to lack of tawakal.
