no group is doing it like aespa. they're serving futurism. when i first heard that last minor section at first i was like "oh.. okay" but the more i listened to it the more i liked that part and the more it made sense. SM is not afraid to do crazy things with their music which is why their groups are my favorite, aespa included !

Aespa's AIs are called the "AEs" (pronounced like "eye", and their whole thing is about them losing the 'SYNK' or connection between their virtual counterparts because of the corruption of the black mamba virus, thats why in next level the AEs were only glitching and only have a small amount of screentime because during next level is where they are really having a hard time to fully connect with their real world counterpart. But Savage is about the story of them finally facing the black mamba and during the middle of the song they already defeated it with the help of NAEVIs who is the pretty AI in the bridge, because of that the AEs can now fully connect with their counterparts and was even able to participate in the group's whole chorus choreography at one point. My assumption will be is that the next song or comeback they are gonna release is about them resurrecting NAEVIS, because in savage she sacrificed herself to give aespa some support in defeating the black mamba, they basically said in the bridge "I know your sacrifices, My naevis, we love you, I know, we'll make sure to find your memories Let's meet surely after the resurrection" if incase you didnt know NAEVIS is the whole reason why the AES and the girls are connected to begin with, and their next obligation is to bring her back.

The last part was off and weird cause their channeling “noise music” basically layering a bunch of random vocals and beats together creating an icky type of melody/sound but it works

It was definitely weird as far as kpop goes, but it brought me back to 90’s - 2000’s american pop/r&b music when a song is bout to end. Gave me goosebumps likeee: ‘ok we bouta end this song on our terms and you gonna like it.’

Its funny I usually like noise music and crazy stuff mainly since i listen to punk and they can get wild. I will admit when I first watched this I had a migraine and when it got to the end all the noise and high notes melted my brain I thought I was dying hahahah

Again, SM really knows how to produce artists. They said that SM is slowly being removed from the "Big 3/4" of SoKor. I freaking disagree. SM's concepts are out of this world and they are the pioneers of trends. Trends that are 3+4 years ahead of their time. Seriously, SM is at the top for a reason because they have great foresight for technology trends and new concepts.
People who said that have no idea about kpop at all. SM freakin CREATED KPOP for god sake. They can't be removed from the BIG 3 no matter what. In fact, if they are even removed from the BIG 3, it's probably because they are in their own higher league now lmao. No one is doing it like SM this year. All their artists made a big contribution this year, both physical and digitals.

So true!!! However I can't help but become worried when Lee Soo Man, the father of SM will finally let go of his company. Recently, he has been taking serious actions in selling his shares which will definitely change the owner of SM. Soo Man's ideas are really incredible and KPop is always fun because of the new things he does to change it. I really think KPop would be so boring and monotonous w/o him. Can't he just not leave??? 😢 K-pop is not Kpop without the founder himself.

Lee Soo-man, the SM in SM Entertainment, talked about this a few months ago: Cartoon, Animation, Webtoon, Motion Graphics, Avatar, and Novel (CAWMAN) as a new mixed video genre to portray their SM Culture Universe (SMCU). I guess we will see the aespa girls and more of their story soon: aespa x Winx club/saga? ^^

It's giving R&B Pop vibes that's why I love it in the song. I don't think the bridge part in the MV was cringe. I don't get why it's cringe and why everything has to be "cringe". Nothing about Winx Club is cringe lol. Yes theres a lot of cringe content online nowadays like Tiktok but this was far from cringe.

Let's see how much of a ride this song will take you on. Giselle got to full on rap. Loved that right off the bat. Hope they get a lot of live stages this comeback because that last section of the dance looks so great. Plus the styling will be interesting.think this might be the fastest I've liked their songs. It usually takes me a few listens or days, but within that same day of it dropping I was into it. The high notes in the end were too much with the music, but I've learned to love it. As of now have already established their own sound. People said they are the only group that can compare to NCT's sound because of how unique they are and that Sticker is the older brother of Savage. Savage has earned a win. Love y'all. Love Aespa. Great comeback as usual. Need to finish listening to the album. Proud of them.

The song definitely grew on me. I was apprehensive because I expected another rollercoaster song, but I even shocked myself 😂 I wasn’t concerned about vocals because I mean, it’s SM 🤷🏾♀️ but the girls ate, the visuals were immaculate, and the song is actually really good!
honestly aespa's music being as futuristic, noisy & weird as possible makes me identify that type of sound with them it sets them apart from everybody else, like how I identify super cute, super adorable, sugar sweet bubblegum pop music with early TWICE (early cuz as they've gotten older the music has matured) no but aespa's mini album / EP is really good too, my faves on there are I'll Make You Cry, YEPPI YEPPI & Lucid Dream...... & if aenergy isn't their intro song at their concert, Imma sue SM!

SM is entering a new era and I foresee NCT and Aespa making bank. Aespa is quickly establishing their sound and I feel as though they’re at the top of this style of music. It suits them so well.
