I accidentally outed an affair I wasn't aware of. Several years ago my husband and I were the newbies in our neighborhood. So about 6 months after we moved in my next door neighbor was going out of town with her boyfriend and asked me to collect her mail. I thought she lived alone as i never saw anyone besides her. One evening i was collecting the mail later than usual. A guy came running out of my neighbor's house and asked me what i was doing. I had my cell and starting dialing the police. While on the phone he's yelling at me. I told the operator there's a strange man in my neighbors home and to send the police. He grabbed the phone from my hand and told the dispatcher he was the homeowner. Thankfully after several minutes 3 police cars arrive sirens blaring and surround us. They separated us. I told an officer I was collecting my single neighbors mail as she requested. She's on vacation with her boyfriend. The officer took my statement and my drivers license and walked away. It turned out the man yelling at me was her husband and he had been in germany with the army for the last year. He came home 6 weeks early from his job assignment there.

@@BeccaHetrick it was her house not his. Our neighborhood was full of elderly residents. The neighbor inherited the house from her grandma. She and her husband had been living there for 2 years before he was station in Germany. He moved out a couple of weeks after the incident.
The sunscreen story can be found under "THINGS THAT NEVER HAPPENED." A smart lawyer would never publicly admit his client was guilty and to jury tampering.
That is not jury tampering. Both lawyers get a say. I don't believe the story as relayed either.

That's what l thought too. Everyone else seems to think it was an accident or stupidity but, IMO, he did her a solid.
I'm surprised Charlotte didn't catch that, she usually does. He knew the girlfriend was there and wanted better for her. That is a man who values loyalty to a partner.
I've never understood the logic of "it's not cheating if it's a different zip code." You know you can still bring back STIs from Vegas, right?

The story of "Confronting my Husband While he's on Vacation with his Mistress" is 3 years old and recently she updated. They are divorce and have polite communication between them. She recently bought a house, went back to school for her 3rd degree and is in a good relationship with another man. The ex is engaged with the mistress and is not happy since she proved to be narcissistic and manipulative. He confess to his ex that is second guessing his engagement. But he continued to put her fiancée and her kids wishes before his own kids.
Then he deserves his current relationship

He deserves it. Karma is a beach❤️. A friend had a brother-in-law that left his wife of 25 y because she was "not pretty"... and he used the U word I can't write or censortube will erase my comment.
He waas not cheaatingg, but he wanted to have eye candy to take to his 50 something friends's parties.
He ended up being r0bb3d by the 1st 20 something and left behind by the 2nd 200 something when she found he had cancer.
The "not pretty" cared for him until his passing. The 2 sons he had, who had heard him call their mom the U word, didn't speak to him ever again.
I was hoping the wife contacted credit card companies and reported his cards stolen along with cancelling his hotel reservation..just making it a bit harder to get a hotel, his gf could have paid for that one! Why she is asking him if he “wants anything” is insane..literally all of it would have met a hefty funeral on trash day!
I'd leave the reservation but report the cards stolen after they check in. Leaving him with no way to pay.

Good way to make a simple divorce into a complicated one. She had a pension he could have gotten up to half. Plus the house etc is a marital assets. What she should have done is remove names from credit cards to establish separate debt. Same with bank accounts. But getting petty will only make it worse.
There was a Reddit post similar to this. Wife found out through 1 of their kids. The teen(16/17 F) had borrowed Dads laptop. 1 of his social media sites was open. A message popped up,she read it. Showed Mom. Both were pissed. Mom and teen gathered evidence. He was using their joint credit card to pay for hotels and activities. Plus had used money from their savings. They split the household bills. Bills she covered were the phones,car insurance(they paid their own car payments),internet/cable,kids activities,and some others. On his next trip(tropical island,5 days) Mom and teen had fun. After he arrived,checked in,went to dinner and was in for the night(they ordered room service) it was time. She cancelled his phone,reported the credit card missing,reported their ATM card lost,changed the passwords on all bank accounts,cancelled the internet service,cancelled his car insurance,changed all the passwords on all his emails,closed all his social media accounts,packed all his stuff,sent some to his parent's house( including his car key's,they live over 2 hours away)some to the AP house with copies of the evidence of the affair in her hubby's name,also sent some to APs parents along with the evidence. She had certified letters sent to their work place,set to arrive on their 1st day back to work. On the day he was due back she sent an email to all of his friends and family members telling of his affair,included the proof. When the APs hubby got the packages he called her. He cooperated with her. Didn't give his wife a heads up. He also cancelled credit cards,phone,bank accounts. By day 3 they were stuck. No money for food or transportation. They had asked the hotel if the room was still covered,nope. They had to sell jewelry to pay the hotel and get food for 2 days. They still had their flight tickets to get home. They didn't have a way to get home from the airport. She watched her hubby read the note she had left taped to the door through their door camera. It told him where to find/get his stuff. Both(her and APs hubby)went scorched earth in their divorces and custody. Of course both sued the APs. The AP was a long time family friend of her sister.

She wants her ex to suffer and to actually feel bad and want her and beg for her back so she has the satisfaction of rejecting him. That sucks that he really doesn’t care and was probably happy not to have to lie anymore..
She needs to let go but it hurts...
I feel even more sorry for the kids. Imagine your dad not even crying for leaving you and is in a hurry to take care of another person's kids
Also, we only have her side of the story. Whilst I understand her pain and suffering, we don't know what lead to their relationship's demise. I hope they can both be happy in their lives and that he can and will do right by the children by including them in his new family.
wanting someone you loved, were married too, and had kids with to express some sort of empathy after cheating on you and lying to you is very normal. i think she realized rather early that she wasn’t going to get that and did what she could to end things amicable.

@@LuOrtiz1 Right! I've been in enough courtrooms and watched enough Zoom court on YT to know that judges get pretty serious when it comes to courtroom decorum, even when it's a cyber court!.
The defendant is not supposed to make any facial expressions towards the jury. Often they are instructed by their attorneys to not look at the jury because they may seem intimidating and scary to them. I've seen some defendants with the gang tattoos, and so many facial piercings it looks like they tripped and fell face-first in a open tackle box. If the defendant stares at the jury, it might prompt the judge to hold them in contempt.
Judge is also not going to tolerate a flirty defendant no matter how cute!

There was a few months about 5 years into my marriage that my husband had NON-STOP work trips. He was literally gone all week and would come home on the weekends. I wasn't suspicious of him cheating but since he was at was only 5 hours away I figured I'd go and surprise him. When I got there on a Tuesday night, he was THRILLED to see me. Said he was super bored sitting at the hotel all alone and he really missed me a lot. I never thought he was cheating but it was good to see I was correct with my instincts. After that first trip I came up to visit him semi-regularly. Nothing like a lovely stay in a nice hotel on the company's dime.

So, I've got a story. My older brother had a drinking problem at one time. All he did was drink. His wife worked 2 jobs, held down the house, while he was pretty much a loser who couldn't keep a job because he was drunk all the time. Also, he cheated on her a lot. She just wasn't aware, she had her suspicions, but never had any evidence.
So, she saves up, and plans a trip to Daytona Beach, for her, my brother, and her brother. She made plans for them to go do some activities which he never wanted to do. Didn't "feel like it" supposedly. So, she and her brother go out for one of these activities, and my idiot bro refuses to go, because he's already half cocked. He decides to go to the pool, that looked out on the beach. Well, there was a womens beach volleyball game going on on the beach, and from what I gather, he somehow managed to get in on the game! Drunk as a monkey. Well, in the midst of him getting a little fresh with the girls, my sil came back to the condo. Looking for brother. Nowhere to b found. She goes down to the pool and finds him with some chick on the beach. She doesn't say a word. She goes upstairs, packs EVERYTHING, even brothers clothes, and she and her brother left without saying a word to him. She left him there with only the swim trunks he had on, and no money! I happened to b visiting my parents at the time, and I answered the phone, to a collect call from my bro. I instantly assumed he was in jail. But, no. My dad gets on the phone and he proceeds to lie about what happened and said she got mad for no reason and left him. Of course my mom believed him, cause he did no wrong in her eyes. They got him a bus ticket, sent him some cash, so he could get some clothes to wear home, and he had to ride the greyhound from Daytona to Ohio! I went with mom to pick him up, and he was a sight!! She left him, divorced him, and we never saw her again.

My older sister went on a trip to the Bahamas with her ex because they had pre paid for everything. She said that when he realizes there would be no "wink,wink, nudge, nudge" he tried to demand that she go home. This was a 8 night 9 day trip. So my sister just ignored him for the rest of the trip. There were plenty of single men around her age. She said it was a blast 😂

It astounds me how these fools think they can get away with cheating while on vacation. Some of these revenge stories I don't condone, but I don't pity the cheaters at all. You reap what you sow.
The upside about the cheating husband who didn’t show empathy…he’s most likely a narcissist. Even though he appears to be moving on wonderfully with the coworker, the truth is- they will start having problems pretty quickly. Both of them cheaters, both of them deserve each other and that relationship will implode.

A cheater is a cheater! A man I worked with in the 70’s was on his third wife, while married to his first wife he met his second wife, and then met his 3rd wife. The last contact I had with him he was having an affair with what will probably be his 4th wife. A former friend while married to his 2nd wife who he met while still married. When arriving home one evening he found his girlfriend who he was engaged to sitting on t,he couch with his wife. Turned out the “fiancée” found out he was seeing a third woman and told his wife everything. Did I mention that all his stuff was in garbage bags ready to go so he was gone.
Sheesh how did he keep track of who was who.
I don't understand why men who do this kind of thing are so stupid. Like why marry if you can't stay faithful. The mature thing to do would to be in healthy Polyamorous relationships instead, but, of course, men like this are too insecure and selfish for that. Because that means they would have to be OK with their partners also being with other people, and their little egos just can't handle that.

There are people who say this as an excuse for cheating, but polyamorous relationships are those which include multiple people, but all parties are fully aware of the situation and want to be a part of it willingly. The cheating husband moving in with his mistress and raising her kids instead of his own is what my father did. AND when this new girlfriend was dying in the hospital many years later, he was cheating on her with another woman! Last I heard he's living with her now and this woman is the mother of a guy I dated when I was 14.
Yep, they sure are scumbags. My FIL is on wife #8. He married her when he was 76 and she was 23. It's so gross. When he was in the Royal Navy, he would cheat all the time, and give my late MIL (1st wife) STD's. There's a rumour another woman was pregnant when MIL was pregnant with her first, my husband. Cheaters don't change.

I think the worst part of the second one was that he absolutely did not care at all. He was so completely checked out on her and the kids that nothing she tried to do phased him. I hope she’s much happier now that she’s out, because she deserves a man that actually cares about her.
I don't get why he was acting angry and shut off. Is he trying to save face from the shame? I get that he fell in love with someone else, but why is he treating her and his own kids as less than human? Just don't be with her. It's like he hates them for some reason. He chose to marry her, he chose to have kids. I'm sure she didn't force him. Why did he even hide it and lie if he didn't care about the house or the kids? He could've just asked for a separation at that point. It doesn't make sense.

I’m on my way home from my birthday vacation. My ex boyfriend broke up with me the day after my birthday and blocked me. My friends did their research and found out he had been cheating on me for about a month. Got in contact with the other woman. Turns out they had just moved in together. That was a great way to spend my vacation. Crying.
There is better out there for you. Your ex was not mature enough to be in a relationship.
Just remember if he will cheat on you, he will do the same to her and anyone else. They are starting their relationship with that shitty energy surrounding it, so it is bound to be misrable in some way or another. And now you get to go live your best life, not being tethered not having his negative and crappy energy in your space. Be happy the trash took itself out.
A month and moved in!? Red flags. My current guy moved in with a chic months into knowing each other . Guess what!? He's known me almost just as long.. she found out.. told him never to see me again and now our drama is him lying for almost a year and scared to tell her since he would lose his home. Tis fun. But sure he should stay where he's under her control and doesn't actually like her... I'm telling her this week
I really don't understand why you cheat. You are literally wasting your efforts to sneak behind your partner's back just to cheat. Then you have to lie and make up stories
Apparently some people live for the thrill of chasing after something forbidden to them. It's also possible that they don't want to have that difficult talk so they stray instead. Of course there's people who want to have their cake and eat it too. And then you have the people who always think with the wrong head if you know what I mean. One thing they all have in common, they're very selfish and untrustworthy.
On a complete side note, I am in complete awe at how the first lady is able to do such perfectly symmetrical make up on her face while spilling the tea on her ex. I can barely draw a straight line on a paper😂
I traveled for work anywhere from 2 - 6 times a year for 20 years. In all that time, I can only remember NOT taking my now late wife on travel with me twice.
The trips were nearly always fly out on Monday, fly back on Friday. As I moved up in the organization, my attendance was required at high level planning meetings on Monday (general meeting and breakouts Tuesday through Thursday). In any case, my wife and I would fly out on Sunday, or sometimes even Saturday, depending on the locale. After the last meeting on Thursday, many people would fly back on Thursday night, but the majority flew out on Friday.
The wife and I would typically fly back on Saturday, occasionally Sunday, and I would return to work on Monday. Every once in a while, I would take a week's vacation, either before the meeting, or after, depending.
The vast majority of the time, I would rent a hotel - normally at the group meetings - but any stay over 3 days was a room with a kitchen. We did eat out, once in a while, or rarely room service (she'd literally never had room service before one of our trips), but we would grocery shop and take all our meals in the room.
The best part was that I would be in meetings from around 8:00am until noon-ish; at which point, I'd go back to our room, where she would make sandwiches and whatnot for lunch.
I can't imagine a) going on travel without her - though after she passed, I did so for several years - or b) cheating on her.
I mean, first of all, I'm a 5 on a good day - clearly my wife had terrible taste in men - second, what I lack in height, weight, musculature, intelligence (somebody stop me), I do have at least a modicum of integrity, and third, you talk about dropping dimes?
My co-workers would not only have dropped multiple dimes on me, but they probably would have brought out the torches, the pitchforks, and the tar and feathers. I mean, my friends and family all liked her more than they did me. They loved her; me, they tolerated.

last christmas i caught my husband of over 30 years cheating with his brothers wife ( they have been married 25) my world imploded but despite being disabled with a degenerative illness, i decided that i couldn't forgive him, i moved out with only personal belongings and my 2 dogs. i have never been happier tbh

It is absolutely heartbreaking at the time, and you think your life is over. But once the dust settles it is always better to walk away in these circumstances. I am so glad to hear you are happy because you definitely deserve it!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it boggles my mind that people will cheat on a person they are financially dependent on. Like it's bad enough to cheat, but to be so dumb as to cheat on someone who owns the house, the cars, the cell phones, etc is just an absurd level of stupidity. Hope you like your mistress a lot cuz that's all you get to keep (if she even stays)

Was dating a guy for a couple months. He was the insurance guy that the credit union I worked at collaborated with. He was good friends with one of my coworkers.
He told me he was going on a trip with “the guys” to Hawaii… it had been planned for a while. He made the mistake of telling my coworker what he was really doing. She didn’t tell me but another coworker which told me. I confronted him upon his return asking details about the vacation. He made up all kinds of stuff before I told him I knew. Then blasted him to the moon. He still tried to convince me they were just friends he didn’t think I would understand that. I blasted him… not only did I have to see him at work periodically but his friend my coworker was pissed her confidential info was shared. Fun times… lol
I went to Atlanta for a wedding with my ex. He left me in our hotel room the night after the wedding saying he was catching up with 'friends'. This makes sense to me because it was his town & people. I was perfectly happy to sit in the hotel room reading a book. The night after that he took me out for dinner at a very nice restaurant. During the course of the evening, he got pretty drunk and ended up admitting to cheating on me the night before. I realized he took me to a fancy place because he thought that I wouldn't cause a scene. I mean he was kinda right? I excused myself to the ladies room where I figured out how to get a flight back home ***for that evening*** said "eff it" and headed to the airport without even grabbing my luggage.
I'll never forget walking through the airport in a black dress, heels, pearls feeling like a damn 👸

I accidently was the other woman. I had NO idea that he was married. He ended it because he traveled too much, and said that he didn't have the time for me that I had deserved. I was heartbroken, I loved him. I had seen that he had passed a couple of years later. I was sad, as he seemed like a great guy, just worked too much. Anyway, imagine my surprise when a couple months later I had gotten an email from his account. It was his WIFE!!! She explained that he was in fact married, and she had read all of our emails, and had apologized for how he had treated me. I had no idea what to do, I was in such shock. I felt and still feel so horrible about it.
It’s not your fault.. its one thing to actively participate in cheating and another to be treated poorly (not as poorly as the wife) but still treated like shit because he’s wasting your time…the fact that you feel/felt bad shows you are a decent human being.

My husband and I were on vacation in Jamaica one winter, staying in Negril at a cabin on the cliffs. There were common paths between the huts, leading to flat sitting areas over the water. My husband glanced down..and saw the wife of his oldest friend kissing and embracing her lover! When they passed our veranda on their way back to the road we gave the wife a hearty hello and fancy seeing you here! I thought she was going to vomit and then sink to the center of the earth. It was pretty epic.

Also, just b/c everything is in your name, doesn't mean squat when you are married, unless it was your prior to getting married. I'm up in the middle of the night with my son but the work trip guy story felt like my life. My sons dad was and is useless. Before anyone says anything, he's actively chosen to not have anything to do with our son despite my efforts. Everything in the house was in my name, I paid for everything. He's now living with his mother 😊 and my son and I couldn't be happier.

When we broke up, my ex's ex & my ex got into a relationship, both of them trying to rub it in our faces. When someone mentioned to me how uncouth that was, I said "I don't mind if she takes out my trash" 😇
People like this are so dumb... The lack in maturity and overall goodness as a person is so obvious, that you are just thankful they are no longer in your life. And it just tells you how obsessed they are still over you if they are doing things to try and still get a reaction out of you. Not to mention if they are willing to do this BS to you, they are definitely willing to do it to each other when they inevitably end their relationship as well.
