Pro V1 or Mizuno RB Tour. I won dozens of them. When I run out I will go back to buying Pro V1 lake balls. Some of which will be returned to a lake.......
Very thoughtful to include a live demonstration of how the ball spins off of solid contact with a tree; news the rest of us can use! I've played the Tour Response version without the alignment stripes and liked the feel, but I still prefer the feel of the Callaway Superhot (not to be confused with the Supersoft), which is also a 3-piece ball.
I have been testing the Tour Response Stripe a lot lately and I love it. It feels really soft off all the clubs and has great spin due to it's urethane cover, especially in the short game. It doesn't spin as much as a TP5 but not far behind it. I was only getting around 650 rpm more on full wedge shots with the TP5 over the Stripe on a launch monitor (GC Hawk) and don't get nearly as frustrated when I lose one. I have also played two rounds with the same Stripe ball and they are very durable, it only had one small mark from a brand new wedge. Very impressed with this ball considering I've been comparing it to the TP5 Pix that I usually play and it's $10 (USD) cheaper per dozen. Hopefully it doesn't feel too soft in hot weather, that would be the only reason I'd switch back to the TP5 this season.
@@ForetoFourGolf Lol! Thanks and I enjoyed watching your video of the review as well! I just kind of lucked into being able to use a launch monitor when I tested the spin, launch, and carry numbers between the Stripe and TP5. I've recently gotten an entirely new bag and mainly went to get my new carry numbers and figured why not check out the differences in golf balls while I was there! Turns out the Stripe really was performing as well as I felt it did while testing it on the course.
@@Reffitt2 I had hoped to get on a launch monitor with them, but I lost the one ball I had and now they are sold out everywhere here and they have jacked the price to the same as tp5
Nice review sir! I usually play a Kirkland beginning of the season as I am not fussed if I lose them. Then once warmed up usually play a Srixon Q Star.
Trying to shoot low and through the gap between two trees is hilariously funny to me. I have gone through a sliver before and been on the green but I have also missed 15-30 foot wide openings too. Golf is a weird game 😂
I've been curious about this ball but wanted to wait until I find one, cause I don't want to buy one just to test putting with it 🤣. I did find one of the Srixon half and half balls and I don't like the look of it when putting. I'm not a big alignment aid person when it comes to putting either.
I personally like looking down on the top of a plain white ball so none of the stripey balls from anyone make it into my bag. I just give any away that I find. I do wonder if a line on the ball would help me putting but then I would become the same pain in the arse as the guy who has to mark his 2 foot putts and line them up. Then line them up again when they change their mind. Just call me an old fart! 😂😂😂😂
What ball do you currently use?
Whatever I find in the rough or the lake.
Well this one is now in the lake on the 18th at sun city 😂

😂
Prov1 it’s also about 12 rounds old, scuffed up and has several tree stains on it from my tee shots! Still, it’s a PROV1

It wouldn’t be a fore to four review without a trip in the trees 😂

Now this is someone who reviews golf balls properly! Great information, and thanks for watching!

Smart thinking mate!

It certainly is!

Yep, good points. I think this suits the folks that are putting lines on their balls already
They need to change the strip color to yellow or orange. The green stripe makes the ball so hard to see on the fairway or rough.
Agreed! When I had it I found it very difficult to spot. That said, they are very difficult to find in shops now as well!
Available at good golf retailers and some bad ones…. Great line Dave! 😂👍
Haha…good old Tim lovejoy from soccer AM can take credit for that!
I’m using Prov1x at the minute but might change when it really warms up 🥴
i've been on pro v1...only because i won some haha
I've played those before. Got a box for my birthday last year. They were ok but I didn't change balls over it.
There are bits I like, but with further testing it was a bit too spinny off the tee for me

Just call me an old fart! 😂😂😂😂
Yeah it’s definitely a balancing act with the lining up. It’s easy to get too focused on line and forget about pace
@@ForetoFourGolf I can't explain why, I just put the ball plain side up. I can see the use of a line but have never tried it myself.
BTW you were actually aiming at that tree.
Probably, certainly sounds like something I would do
Use your contacts to get me a deck of em!
So you can spray them all over Kwinana? 😂
I think they go ok, nothing special. I think they were difficult to see, even on the fairway, compared to all white balls🤷🏼♂️
It’s definitely a slightly duller white on them!
One ball, four holes! I call bullshit!
Harsh.....................but fair 😂😂😂😂
I can confirm I no longer have this ball, it was offered to the lake as sacrifice
@@ForetoFourGolf 😂😂
@@ForetoFourGolf The golf gods will be pleased! When I see lakes I offer Dunlops 🤣🤣
