If you're using it alone, would you still go with the Hapi or stick with the Khufu? For 2 people the Hapi makes a lot of sense. I'm debating if the Hapi would be nicer of a setup to use an entire side as a vestibule instead of front of tent
Hi thanks for your review! There are too few locus gear reviews in English I don’t know y🥲 May I know the length of the Dpte please? I didn’t order this and searching for some cheaper alternatives😅thank you!!
My main question about the end-panel door arrangement - can you leave the doors open in the rain and enter/exit without getting your sleeping gear wet??
If you only open one side for entry you can keep the gear under the closed door dry. But as it is a Pyramide ⛺️ there will come some rain in on the door you open, as there’s no “roof” over the door.
Can you comment at what length you set your trekking pole? I've got a Hapi as well but can get a good pitch at 130-135cm (the max my poles will go) as it sits too close to the ground. It's even worse when I use the DTPE. I know the Locus Gear site says 135cm but I would says that's the minimum!
Hi Alex! I have that Yana Poles from Ruta Locura and usually put the two Poles together for a high pitch, I haven’t measured it but would guess the length is around 140 cm then?
Did you ever figure out how to get your Hapi to work well with the DTPE ? I am considering buying a Hapi but need to know if it is actually possible to get the tent to work well with the DTPE otherwise I will buy the smaller Khufu.
Love this tent so much, truly the best one I’ve ever had.
Glad you enjoy it so much Jim!
Great Review. Thanks
Thanks! Very informative and interesting!
Thank you Borgia 😊
Sorry to comment on old video but do you have any bugnet with the tent?
@@田中太郎-s5h9x I don’t use a bugnet, but a bivy bag as it is more flexible.

Great video thank you. Do you think the A frame will work with the optional inner net?

Hi Hendrik, thanks for the review. For winter, do you prefer your Khufu or the Hapi ?
I have Khufu eVent which I like to use in winter :)
Hey! If you pitch the Mesh tent with DPTE, is there any room for backpacks for 2 persons inside? What's your opinion/experience?
Good question Jukka, but I can’t answer it 😔 Don’t have a mesh inner as I always use a Bivy bag.
