  • Golden and crusty on the outside but very soft and moist on the inside! This bread is going to be your go-to recipe for an easy last-minute bread that doesn't even require a dutch oven. You can mix the ingredients together and leave it in your fridge until your ready to bake it.

    Back in the 70's my mom had a ring dish on the counter so when she made tortillas her wedding ring wouldn't get dirty.

    Is 230 celcius in a conventional oven or fan assisted oven?

    Cynthia, fast and easy isn't really good bread. good bread requires certain steps. Learn them and you will make good bread instead of fast and easy bread. Making bread is supposed to be fun and when you get a good product it is even more fun.

      Sorry to say this: But you're actin Bread-snobbish.
      People who do not like the taste of "sour" in bread, will benefit from recipes like the one in this video... (Some ids, among others)
      As will people with low energy/burn-out-issues... people with little excess time... and people with certain physical inhibitions (which may prevent prolonged kneading, among others).
      Dont be condescending.
      It serves no-one "well".
      Personally, I prefer ACCEPTANCE... of different people's different reasons for doing What-&-How they DO do "Their Stuff"..
      YOU're not "Wrong" for preferring prolonged/slowed down baking processes.
      Neither am I - and others - "Wrong"... for preferring baking No Knead-bread - sans the overnight proofing.

      This isn't bread. They're buns. For busy people it's perfect. Still better than buying processed buns from the supermarket.
