[TAS] Tomba/Tombi - Low% in

- RULES
Complete the game:
1) earning the minimum score possible;
2) clearing as few events as you can;
3) collect items ONLY if they're really needed to finish the game;
4) don't kill enemies (except for the Evil Pigs and a specific Koma Pig in the Haunted Mansion).
TIMING
Timing starts from new game and ends once the CLEAR! text comes up after the Final Pig Fight.
NON-TAS WORLD RECORD
As far as I know, I'm the only one who tried this (with less restricting rules, because it was a normal human-played gameplay) in 1:30:36.
The regular Any% record belongs to Raikou at 00:46:58
DESCRIPTION
1) I picked up only quest-related items (ex: math beads, Bunk Flowers, etc.), some unavoidable objects (1 piece of Cheese, keys given by the Old Wise Men, etc.) and 4 Charity Wings - everything else is unnecessary.
2) I avoided fruits, healing items and gems.
3) There's A LOT of backtracking involved, even more than playing normally.
4) The only enemy I killed is a Koma Pig in the Haunted Mansion in the room with the Small Key at 00:18:51. Unfortunately this kill is necessary, or else the villager won't talk to Tomba and it won't be possible to complete the game. I've tried to stun him, to throw it off the door (which results in a kill) and to somehow make the game not register the score, but it was all useless.
5) The TAS itself can be improved, and it's possible to save maybe a couple of minutes.

CONCLUSIONS
1) The bare minimum score is 275.500 AP. If somehow someone finds a way to avoid the Koma Pig at 00:18:51, the score could be lowered to 275.000.
2) It's necessary to clear 58 events to complete the game.
3) The game can be completed without the Animal Dash and the Funky Parasol, but the Grapple is necessary.
4) As already demonstrated by the Tomba Club, the less events you clear, the harder the last battle is...which is counterintuitive and contrary to video game logic, it should have been the opposite (more cleared events=harder battle).
5) Right before the end results, the game will give us some hints regarding the events we didn't find, to encourage us to explore better in future playthroughs.
Awesome TAS! Great idea. Are there any other restricted speedruns that would be fun to TAS?
Thank you for your comment. Low% is an interesting category itself, and can be applied to many games, but at the moment I can't think of other "restricted" categories
@@MadPunkerz I did see a Tomba speedrunner do a run where he didn't eat any fruit during the run!
That's impressive
