I think that hits as hard as it does because of the subtle layers of nuance to that joke. On the surface, it's just "haha, he got caught looking at furry porn at work!", which is funny by itself, but under the surface there's a subtler joke that he's so embarrassed of the Furry Force that no one else in the office even knows he's in contact with them, which leads to an even deeper joke that the Furry Force is such an embarrassment that only a handful of government officials are even aware of their existence, and even those few people wish they didn't have that knowledge.

However, if you are into the fandom for the rampant creative wonder, doesn't that differ from being there just for the lewds? I sometimes get really tired of people spreading the all furries are perverts narrative too. Some of us just like making art and romping around in costume without it being sexual. Some like the sfw stuff 90% of the time, but dabble in the NSFW zone the other 10%. I dunno, maybe my threshold as to what defines depravity in others is busted since sexuality is just an alien concept to me.

Speaking of "normal" people reacting to furries. I'll never forget the time I went to FWA (Furry Weekend Atlanta) 2018. I was sitting in the lobby just chilling when this dude walks in and gives the lobby a good look before saying "Oh my God" softly to himself. Dozens of fursuiters everywhere, it was hilarious.
I guess people are used to it but around the Eurofurence hotel people are quite chill. Sometime we get the occasionnal curious person, and furries coming early meet normal hotel customers... Their reactions usually goes from amused to intrigued.

Okay. As a furry, I never heard of Furry Force. Now, I have only seen what you have shown in this video. Laughed so hard I became light-headed. And that is just how the furry community is. We understand we are weird and everything that goes with that. We can (for the most part) laugh at this kind of thing simply because...it's true!
I get the pun, and it's a good one, but honestly, as someone who grew up watching Fox Kids, something like this wouldn't have surprised me if it was on there. Obviously it would have been quite a bit tamer than this version but I could see something like this being aired.
I worked at a place that had very . . . interesting . . . rules for casual days (since it was always casual anyway) and a friend of mine there would show up in his full furry outfit on those days. My love of surreal humor made it where the best part was him just going about it his job, and us having normal, uninteresting, deadpan business conversations with him as a giant purple wolf.
I am not part of the fandom, but over my time on the internet I see the fandom simultaneously very cursed but also wholesome at the same time. The amount of times a random bad thing happened near or at a furry convention and them trying to cheer everyone up in their own way is just something you'd never expect but is welcome

We’re totally down with laughing at ourselves. We know we’re weird, we’re okay with it and we just like to have fun. Furry Force is hilarious, I know so many furries who love it. Never watched it myself but I don’t mind it at all; I love satirical humor. We don’t even care that everyone doesn’t like us, all we want is not to be actually bullied, especially because we have a lot of kids in our fandom and they aren’t mature enough to be able to handle that.

Reminds me the last time I went to an anime convention. I had my Hatsune Miku cosplay and there were many others. Turns out there was a concert planned after the convention ended for 'sophisticated people' and people with money. So I couldn't help but laugh when I was leaving the building with my friends and many cosplayers, only to find well-dressed ladies and men in their 50s and up just staring at us speechless. The best thing to do is to just greet them with a big smile and not show that you're laughing inside.
We have a "double booked" convention every year. Anime con gets like 3/4 of the center and whatever else is left in the corner hoping we don't invade. Arnold Classic was fuckin cool, quilting convention had much distain for weebs but some tried to help with costume patterns, and then the year Haikyu(?) came out there was a HS volleyball tournament in the convention center.... needless to say, about 80 of us drunk/high idiots got kicked out of the stands 🤣

I remember I was on my way to a meeting while FurrCon was going on in Los Angeles. I ended up running into three of them on an elevator and needless to say I was rather confused because this was my first time hearing what a furry was. They were really cool guys one of them was also in the real estate business so we have something to talk about. I ended up cutting the meeting and then got drunk with them that was probably one of the best Saturdays of my life. Lol

One of my favorite things from the furry fandom is the suits. They are amazing when you look into the makeup of them. Like some people spends months! Years! Making them. Some fully move with animatronics, and I remember seeing this one that was a full LED light face that would show the eyes and mouth. I love how creative many of the suits can be, and the time and love going into them. Whenever I see a fursuit at a con I have to take pictures. My favorite so far was a moth lady who's wings moved and glowed as did her whole body, and a full on suit of kas from botw.
The fact that the community you are ripping on is ok and awarded it, is great to see. If only communities in this day and age could be that open-minded.

As a long time furry, I can tell you that the first people to laugh at and make fun of furries is other furries. We know we're ridiculous, and we can laugh at ourselves pretty easily. Given that, Furry Force hits the comedic tone perfectly.

A similar over the top furry series is Furry Apocalypse by Flash Getz. That animation is slightly different in that it simultaneously makes fun of furries and people who hate furries.
I dunno, unlike this series, it feels like he genuinely dislikes furries and supports hating them. Furry Force as cringe as it is, seems like it's actually trying to be funny.
As a furry of more than 20 years, I loved the Furry Force shorts. They capture the... INSANITY that is the fandom. I do know a few that got really offended by it, but... well, they also get offended by pretty much everything, because they only know that as their way to get attention (we all know those types). Most people I know find the series HILARIOUS. Especially those of us who have been in the community since before it got so... overly fetishized.
I remember the first time i saw this, i was so disturbed but now knowing more about the Furry community i actually have an appreciation for it now and see the humour in it
The sponsor is so close to being a perfect thing. There's a town called Muff in Scotland, and I have no doubt tens of thousands of people would line up to lord over a small piece of Muff, just as they're members of the Muff Divers Club.
Fun fact - I interned at a studio in Canada helping with prep for their new animated sitcom season and I found out they worked on Furry Force. It was a great moment to see it in amongst the "Works" section of their site.
I respect the furry community. They're usually chill and you can have a great time with them. It's just the really weird stuff that's not my cup of tea and most members of the community I met weren't really into that NSFW stuff either

Some like the sfw stuff 90% of the time, but dabble in the NSFW zone the other 10%. Reminds me the last time I went to an anime convention. I had my Hatsune Miku cosplay and there were many others. Turns out there was a concert planned after the convention ended for 'sophisticated people' and people with money. So I couldn't help but laugh when I was leaving the building with my friends and many cosplayers, only to find well-dressed ladies and men in their 50s and up just staring at us speechless. The best thing to do is to just greet them with a big smile and not show that you're laughing inside.

We have a "double booked" convention every year. Anime con gets like 3/4 of the center and whatever else is left in the corner hoping we don't invade. Arnold Classic was fuckin cool, quilting convention had much distain for weebs but some tried to help with costume patterns, and then the year Haikyu(?) came out there was a HS volleyball tournament in the convention center.... needless to say, about 80 of us drunk/high idiots got kicked out of the stands 🤣

One of my favorite things from the furry fandom is the suits. They are amazing when you look into the makeup of them. Like some people spends months! Years! Making them. Some fully move with animatronics, and I remember seeing this one that was a full LED light face that would show the eyes and mouth. I love how creative many of the suits can be, and the time and love going into them. Whenever I see a fursuit at a con I have to take pictures. My favorite so far was a moth lady who's wings moved and glowed as did her whole body, and a full on suit of kas from botw.

A similar over the top furry series is Furry Apocalypse by Flash Getz. That animation is slightly different in that it simultaneously makes fun of furries and people who hate furries.
I dunno, unlike this series, it feels like he genuinely dislikes furries and supports hating them. Furry Force as cringe as it is, seems like it's actually trying to be funny.
As a furry of more than 20 years, I loved the Furry Force shorts. They capture the... INSANITY that is the fandom. I do know a few that got really offended by it, but... well, they also get offended by pretty much everything, because they only know that as their way to get attention (we all know those types). Most people I know find the series HILARIOUS. Especially those of us who have been in the community since before it got so... overly fetishized.
I remember the first time i saw this, i was so disturbed but now knowing more about the Furry community i actually have an appreciation for it now and see the humour in it
The sponsor is so close to being a perfect thing. There's a town called Muff in Scotland, and I have no doubt tens of thousands of people would line up to lord over a small piece of Muff, just as they're members of the Muff Divers Club.
Fun fact - I interned at a studio in Canada helping with prep for their new animated sitcom season and I found out they worked on Furry Force. It was a great moment to see it in amongst the "Works" section of their site.
