How did he make 2 dollars in 30 minutes but it took him almost 2 more hours to get to 5 dollars
They gave me $1 for the first survey I did and then after that I was getting between $0.10 and $025

I did a ton of surveys in my teen years and tried several platforms out and most of the websites work this way. The initial 1-5 dollars is to hook the user into the website and interest them in making money. It gives the false reality of surveys being a legitimate source of income. Afterwards, you tend to fail a ton of surveys, not qualify for them, possibly get scammed out of your earned money for a couple, and get taken advantage of. These websites are not designed for the user to make money, but for the website owners to make money. Unfortunately, survey websites and get rich quick schemes are recommended so much on youtube that people fall for them and the legit money making methods fall through the cracks. (I am still ticked that one survey website locked like $25 dollars on my account because I was inactive for 4 months. I have to earn that much again to get my money back and it is more difficult now to succeed on that site lol.)
@Christian William One website that I have dabbled a little with is Upwork. It is more of a freelance site. I haven't personally had a ton of luck with it, but my cousin, who introduced the site to me, has had quite a bit of success with it. You go back and forth between really busy seasons and really empty seasons on that site, though. Also, Fiverr is a good place to find some work, if you have a skill that you can sell to others. Also, working on your youtube, twitch, tik tok, etc., accounts is productive in the long term because you can eventually get monetized on those. Content creation can be a very viable source of income once you get past the beginning stages. If you are old enough, the stock market is also good for long-term gain. I only just started investing in the stock market a couple of months ago, and my dividend stocks give me approx. 50 cents to a dollar every month. It isn't a lot, but it is room for growth and will add up as I reinvest it. I have also heard of an app called Rover (I think its called that) where you can get paid to walk dogs, pet sit, etc. If you have a car, Uber and Lyft. If you have a car or bike, UberEats, Grubhub, Doordash, etc. You can also look into being an online personal assistant. You can also look into dropshipping, print on demand t-shirt businesses, or starting some sort of online business yourself. If you have written poetry, stories, etc., you can publish those or put them in e-book form. Edit/proofread papers. These are just a handful of opportunities you can look into. It takes time getting set up where you can actually make money, and depending on age, location, and accessibility, not all of these will be applicable to you. However, there are plenty of opportunities on the internet. You just have to look for them. Also, getting a part-time job, mowing lawn, finding a need and filling it irl, ask people if there is anything they can pay you to do, babysit, etc. When it comes to nonconventional means of making money, it takes a bit of creativity and determination to get going. However, sometimes those can be the most freeing and full-filling sources of income if you can make it worth your while. Some survey/watching video websites and apps can give you a little bit of money, but working minimum wage part-time will make you soo much more money than spending that same amount of time on those websites and apps. Also, look into legitimate forms of passive income. Passive income, even when it is only 1-2 dollars a month, is beautiful.

props to you for doing it for 8 hours straight... a lot of the times these surveys ask the same questions and it gets repetitive. I just do them when I get bored to make some extra income on the side.
I do it as a full time job as well as working 2 times a week! Saving up on a better car!

@@dice7743 swagbucks, Mypoints, Leo, Lifepoints, Branded Surveys, Ipsos Isay which really is bad it takes like 3 months just to get 25$ but you can do ipsos if you want and then survey junkie! I do other sites but rarely! These are the 7 sites I have time to do in a 15 hour day! But I also like to do featurepoints, zapsurveys which is stupid but anything with money I don't mind but zap surveys is an app and then tellwut as well which is nice! Hope this helps!

@@kyliefaulkner1979 Grabpoints is my main site. I was able to make about $8 in under 1 hour by doing the dynata surveys. you can also make $10 in 1 hour by doing quickthoughts (note: they ban easily)

I think how it works is when you are playing the games, there are Adsense ads all over the sides of your page so they most likely pay you a small percentage of what they make from the ads. Interesting video though because I used to be curious about if you could actually make money from the survey sites!

Props buddy, I literally get two questions deep into a survey and abandon ship. 8 hours proves to be no where near worth it. I think they should pay us in retention points you know what I mean, if a person sticks it out any longer then an hour or more should be paid for the time spent on the site itself.

I used to work for a company that offered surveys daily and I used to do them every once in awhile. If you find a site that uses yoursurveys you can make anywhere from $30-80 in a day untaxed
