My guy Joe spitting out some straight facts on this Friday morning with that “You gotta love yourself before you love someone else!” You ain’t never lied tho!! But then they brought you in to debutHonda’s brolic ass “PASSPORT ELITE?!” Ya love to see it..another dope review bruh bruh.
That new passport is really nice and im digging the orange one thats the one i would go with i love the black leather interior with the orange stitching. The other one is pretty sweet looking too with that tow tone interior. Anyways thanks for sharing keep up the great work have a good one take care see ya on the next one
I owned my first Honda a few years ago, a Pilot. It was a great people hauler, but it had some major flaws. The performance was nothing to brag about - my Pilot with the V6 was slow and sluggish, and it was a gas guzzler. The headlights started peeling off, the infotainment system wouldn’t work when it got too hot outside, and the most annoying part was the useless push-button shifter. Don’t even think about shifting quickly from Park to Drive if you're in a hurry, or if you have the door open trying to move the car for any reason. It automatically goes into Park! We had it for about a year, and after that, we never went back to a Honda.
The Honda-Nissan merger is not going to be harmonious like the fictional Brady blended family; it's going to be more like Barron Trump marrying one of the Obama girls.
I work at a Honda dealer. So I’m driving Hondas all day everyday, and I have to say… I really hope they improve the cameras, occasionally I’ll drive a GM and the cameras are just pristine compared to Honda. I also hope that add the nice big accord 12 inch screen to all the pilots and ridgeline like they are with this. It’s ridiculous they put that dinky 9inch on that big pilot dash
What a great looking SUV. Thankfully, Honda hasn't abandoned the very reliable V6. I don't care how amazing a hybrid is...ICE all the way. Bring on the aftermarket suspension and performance mods.
I wish Honda put a full-size spare tire under the trunk area. Carrying a full-size spare inside the car is not ideal. First, you'll smell that rubber all the time even with its cover on. Second, it significantly compromises the cargo space. Third, if it's not secured properly, it can cause major injury in an accident. Fourth, you'll have to carry a muddy & dirty flat tire in the car after the swap. Lastly, it plain looks like an after thought... Also having a "built-in" full-size tire differentiates a true off-road SUV vs. wanna-be SUV
wish car companies would stop with the stick up infotainment screens my 23 passport has the screen angled into the dash it makes it look so much cleaner with straight lines
This is why I have always been a Honda fan, not Toyota. Toyotas/Lexus I have owned, had at least 2-3 recalls but Honda/Acura 0 recalls. I am buying for sure either this or the new Scout!
And most mechanics say the vcd( cylinder deactivation ) isn't good for the engine. Wish they would provide the option to disable. Besides that love the looks and engine.
Real metal skid plates are a really big deal for Honda. Ridgeline and Passport owners have been asking for this forever. Finally a vehicle that deserves the Trailsport nameplate.
I liked the idea of water spray on front camera. They should do the same for back camera too. It will help a lot in slushy icy roads in winters and I hope they make it a standard for every car, suv in Honda
@@ShakeemAndCarsI think that’s the one that will sell more in my opinion . Can’t wait to see how it looks. Hopefully just as aggressive as the trailsport trims
I'm a Honda fan (inc a 25 CIvic SI) so warning this is a biased opinion ... yes of course it's better than the 4 Runner Turbo ... it's a better daily-driver ... just all around better ... and YES I know it's not a 'TRUCK' but for 99.999% of the folks this is the better choice because you have to give up less every day to use it ... this is NOT a MOAB rock crawler, it was never designed to be one ... once you accept that statement the choice is obvious ... Thanks Keith Algonquin IL
Good skid plates are tools, not just protection. You should be able to hit it on purpose to help clear obstacles. Do you ever really drive off road at all?
If they drive well on the highway, I will be buying as soon as the dealerships quit adding thousands of dollars in "market adjustments" and dealer-installed junk.
yes but I have it on my Acura rdx and it is much improved now after so many years, also I always put my car in sport mode and it will keep them all activated I believe. I have not had any issues and I got the 2019 RDX.
You still haven't reviewed the REVANI. They have 2 different models. They're completely redesigned jeep and Escalade. They're bullet proof and James Bond would be proud of the accessories. They're in LA,so bring oxygen bcuz the place is blazing.
They look great, but they're probably going to be pushing 50k with the top trims. That's a hard pill to swallow. A Subaru outback Wilderness is just as capable and will likely end up being something like 15k less. More options are good. But that is a lot of money for a unibody light duty "offroader" that doesn't have true 4wd.
Love that Honda kept the v6 engine instead of going turbocharged. Such a nice suv.
You are so very right Omar
Honda finally realized turbo charged engine is not the way to go.
@@omarcortes5754 yes I’m happy about that. Now they just gotta bring back a regular shifter
Is it the SOHC or DOHC V6? I love the SOHC in my Ridgeline.
@@McLovin80Not sure. I know it's a new engine and debuted with the Pilot.
Nice rigs, great presentation. Keep the naturally aspirated V-6's!
Let’s hope Honda brings the next Ridgeline with this front end and interior design.

Yes, Ridgeline needs this! 🔥

Much better looking than 4Runner

That brown and black interior with a green exterior is pretty "SICK" as the kids would say.
Joe, you are exceptional! This Passport is awesome! I gotta have one. Thank you for the detailed info!
Honda has upped their design game
Yeah, right! What design? It's a 2nd generation GMC Acadia. Look again.
I think these will sell well. N/A V6 👍. Maybe take some 4runner loyal customers ?
I think Honda is hoping for that Tom!
definitely turbo changed engine is a wrong way to go for all car MFR's.
honda prologue proves honda fans buy anything with the badge
Won't happen. Majority of Toyota buyers are aware modern-day Honda/Acura has too many reliability issues and recalls on nearly all their models.
Honda has the recalls? Toyota no recalls? What?

Honda is keeping it real with the v6,sucks they got rid of the k20c4 in the accord tho.
